Wow--I hadn't looked at it like that before. I have been told that the release point of a Yod is the point in direct opposition to the Yod point, such as 8 degrees Pisces. The closest thing to that is my Chiron at 6 degrees Pisces. I find the release point to be hard to interpret unless I use a Sabian or other symbol, or there is a planet within one degree or exactly conjunct. The sextile is a great idea I think. I have been married 4 times. The first was to a preacher who, I discovered after 12 years of marriage and two children, ran around on me with phone sex and prostitutes. He would rarely touch me, and I was stressed all the time. Then a string of con artists and deluded individuals, and me gullible and naive to the nth degree. I could have been on the show "Who the bleep did I marry?" 3 times over. I married my current husband in 2009, and he is not perfect but I am learning true love from a man for the first time in my life. My father was Mr. Slick and very talented, and very manipulative. He was also apparently paranoid schizophrenic and had multiple personalities by the end of his life. So my Chiron is definitely a part of all this. Eris has manifested herself in my naivete and Aries "over zealous, sophomoric warrior" approach to life, particularly in my job. I have lost some jobs because of my own stupidity, and I see that from what you have said, but I also see that I am one of those intellectual types that is annoying to many folks--too precise in some ways, like the "squints" on the show "Bones." I have responded with the attitude "I am surrounded by idiots." I am big on education and making superior grades--I have high averages in both of my degree programs. And I am learning that these attitudes need to be tempered with some wisdom. So I think in some ways I've had an inflated ego, and in some ways I've been very deflated in ego. So balance is the key. I just need another perspective besides my own, since my husband and I are having big money troubles because of a number of factors, but we have hope. Thank you for your honesty and time and effort. I truly want to see the truth so I can shift the energies to something more positive.------------------

Moon conjunct Chiron. My father was the one doing most of the hurting. I am definitely interested in deep things and examining taboos, 'cause we had a crapload of them growing up! I definitely am driven, just need to focus it in right direction! I have dealt with adrenal burnout. Yes people say I'm charming. But after seeing the Eris thing, I'm beginning to wonder!IP: Logged |

I am glad you are open to Eris.I just lost a g/f who was not cuz she would not make piece with the Eris.
It is a hard energy--very hard. I think it is not "bad" if one uses wisdom with it.
The key to making it work for you is NOT to jump when you want to.
Pull back and use wisdom.How much Air do you have?

Funny with Moon conj Chiron it is usually the mother who is very hard.
How was your relationship with her?
Perhaps moon conj Chiron could just be painful wounding of the heart.

I was, and am, very close to my mom. All you said was true about men, especially my dad, and both of my grandfathers, and the other men in my life since my divorce a number of years ago. Thank goodness I am with a marvelous man now. How do I reach you on the asteroid forum? Not sure about how to do that, being new.------------------

They say when one parent is very ill, if you have one nurturing parent then the pain is enough to make you into an exceptional person and not destroy you. Yes--deep wounding of the heart. My first marriage shattered a lot of my dreams. But maybe they needed to be shattered, and I needed to gain wisdom. Any other ideas, please let me know, and how to contact you--I can't investigate at the moment, I have to go to my last show and then I'm travelling for an interview for a job.
