That is really a weak point for me. I need to let go, emotionally, of ties to the past, about how things once were and how happy I was about it etc. These emotional memories are keeping me from experiencing the NOW intensely.

Though I AM already learning to do that, but now and then I have a relapse.
I think I need not only to let go of things but to really LET THEM BE GONE.
Not keeping them out again when my present life is somewhat disappointing. It is a relapse.

I'm not sure about this. I am very much someone who wants to do the right thing, and I'm more conservative in my actions a lot of the time, but I'm not religious. I've been feeling less than impressed spiritually, too. I've been obsessed with past lives for the past two years now, and ordered a book two days ago, called something like "Your Soul's Plan."
