Does it look like stabilized now?

SECOND SPREAD FOR TOPTOPS – SHOULD YOU GIVE IT A TRY WITH THE CANCER MAN?

1. What do you bring into the relationship?
Major Arcana XIX – Innocence

quote:
The old man in this card radiates a childlike delight in the world. There is a sense of grace surrounding him, as if he is at home with himself and with what life has brought. He seems to be having a playful communication with the praying mantis on his finger, as if the two of them are the greatest friends. The pink flowers cascading around him represent a time of letting go, relaxation and sweetness. They are a response to his presence, a reflection of his own qualities.
The innocence that comes from a deep experience of life is childlike, but not childish. The innocence of children is beautiful, but ignorant. It will be replaced by mistrust and doubt as the child grows and learns that the world can be a dangerous and threatening place. But the innocence of a life lived fully has a quality of wisdom and acceptance of the ever-changing wonder of life.

You bring your own innocence, as the card suggests, approaching him with an open mind and heart, with curiosity and trust.

2. What the Cancer brings into this relationship?
King of Water – Healing

quote:
It is a time when the deeply buried wounds of the past are coming to the surface, ready and available to be healed. The figure in this card is naked, vulnerable, open to the loving touch of existence. The aura around his body is full of light, and the quality of relaxation, caring and love that surrounds him is dissolving his struggle and suffering. Lotuses of light appear on his physical body, and around the subtle energy bodies that healers say surround each of us. In each of these subtle layers appears a healing crystal or pattern.

When we are under the healing influence of the King of Water we are no longer hiding from ourselves or others. In this attitude of openness and acceptance we can be healed, and help others also to be healthy and whole.

Seems like he is also approaching you with openness, he brings kindness, harmony and healing into the relationship. Very suited for a Cancer, I would say! He will soothe your past hurts and you will heal each other… so beautiful!

3. Will you be happy with the Cancer?
Major Arcana IV – The rebel

quote:
The powerful and authoritative figure in this card is clearly the master of his own destiny. On his shoulder is an emblem of the sun, and the torch he holds in his right hand symbolizes the light of his own hard-won truth. Whether he is wealthy or poor, the Rebel is really an emperor because he has broken the chains of society's repressive conditioning and opinions. He has formed himself by embracing all the colors of the rainbow, emerging from the dark and formless roots of his unconscious past and growing wings to fly into the sky. His very way of being is rebellious--not because he is fighting against anybody or anything, but because he has discovered his own true nature and is determined to live in accordance with it. The eagle is his spirit animal, a messenger between earth and sky. The Rebel challenges us to be courageous enough to take responsibility for who we are and to live our truth.

I think you will be happy with him, moreso this relationship will allow you to be whoever you choose to be, to express all the angles of your personality, knowing you will be welcomed to do so. It will be a very liberating experience, you will free to be yourself with this man.

4. Will he be happy with you?
Major Arcana XIII – Transformation

quote:
The central figure in this card sits atop the vast flower of the void, and holds the symbols of transformation--the sword that cuts through illusion, the snake that rejuvenates itself by shedding its skin, the broken chain of limitations, and the yin/yang symbol of transcending duality. One of its hands rests on its lap, open and receptive. The other reaches down to touch the mouth of a sleeping face, symbolizing the silence that comes when we are at rest.

This is a time for a deep let-go. Allow any pain, sorrow, or difficulty just to be there, accepting its "facticity". It is very much like the experience of Gautam Buddha when, after years of seeking, he finally gave up knowing there was nothing more that he could do. That very night, he became enlightened. Transformation comes, like death, in its own time. And, like death, it takes you from one dimension into another.

I think he will also be able to find his happiness with you, but it seems like he still has some work to do on his readiness to approach you. He needs to leave the past behind him and start a new chapter with you from a blank page and allow you two to write your story together. I think he is capable of deep commitment and attachment, this is why it is difficult for him right now to cut with his past, but this is the necessary step to take if he wishes to become the King of Water and heal his wounds and yours.

5. Will this relationship last?
Ace of Water - Going With The Flow

quote:
The figure in this card is completely relaxed and at ease in the water, letting it take him where it will. He has mastered the art of being passive and receptive without being dull or sleepy. He is just available to the currents of life, with never a thought of saying "I don't like that," or "I prefer to go the other way."

Every moment in life we have a choice whether to enter life's waters and float, or to try to swim upstream. When this card appears in a reading it is an indication that you are able to float now, trusting that life will support you in your relaxation and take you exactly where it wants you to go. Allow this feeling of trust and relaxation to grow more and more; everything is happening exactly as it should.

This is the Ace of Cups from the regular Tarot. I think you should definitely give the Cancer a chance, but you should try not to force matters, approach him with the innocence suggested above, try not to impose your views or expectations (learn from the lesson the Taurus taught you), but rather go with the flow, let this relationship take its time and its own course. Be approachable and flexible and it will go very well. This is a wonderful card to have as an outcome!

Thank you! I told you I am very excited about reading with this deck, and I don't want to lose the card images or their descriptions, so if that means I have to split my posts, it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make. I want to make these readings a wonderful experience both for me and for the people I read for.

These cards are gorgeous indeed! I'm so glad I made it in time to get a reading but it's great to read your reading of other people's questions too Hera.
Hopefully they won't keep disappearing.

I hope so too! Well, since I decided to do the readings this way, and post card images and descriptions, I don't think I will be able to do more than one spread/question. This means I have to find the most suitable spread for the question asked and if things are still unclear after I get feedback from the person questioning, I will do another spread separately. Hope you all enjoy the readings as much as I enjoy giving them!

Oh Hera, I am so glad you post the cards with each reading. They are so majestic & peacefully beautiful.

I do hope I made it the cut for a reading too!

My question is about my Aries/Taurus Cusp BF of 3 months. We come from very different worlds, live today in similar circles, yet find so many things in common. I need to balance this with the fear of rejection streak we share, along with a dash of stubbornness both. (its all good, but a few warts we share indeed) He's not a very relationship talk kind of guy (are any?) He shows me though that he wants me in his life...just a bit strained given the circumstances. Due to a 2 week illness he has had, we slipped off our "high" and are tiptoeing back to the level we were at.

I am looking for love after a rough marriage. He too has been searching for love, and tried marriage twice (burned both times). He craves commitment & is family oriented.

Big question overall - Is he "the one" for me? And am I for him? Will our love last?

Simply gorgeous cards, and your style of reading so amazing. I agree - WOW!!!

READING FOR PIXIEANGEL

Pixie, I did a spread called “Letting go” for you. Let me know if it is clear enough, if not I will try a different spread called “Will I find true love?”

1. Your current position
Queen of Rainbows: Flowering

quote:
The Queen of Rainbows is like a fantastic plant that has reached the apex of its flowering and its colors. She is very sexual, very alive, and full of possibilities. She snaps her fingers to the music of love, and her zodiac necklace is placed in a way that Venus lies over her heart. The sleeves of her garment contain an abundance of seeds, and as the wind blows the seeds will be scattered to take root where they may. She is not concerned whether they land on the soil or on the rocks--she is just spreading them everywhere in sheer celebration of life and love. Flowers fall on her from above, in harmony with her own flowering, and the waters of emotion swirl playfully beneath the flower on which she sits.
You might feel like a garden of flowers right now, showered with blessings from everywhere. Welcome the bees, invite the birds to drink your nectar. Spread your joy around for all to share.

This card depicts you as a mature woman, emotionally speaking, sure of herself and her charm, your own feminity and sexuality. This cards also speaks about plenty of opportunities available for you. Perhaps this is why you asked this question, you felt like you might be missing out on some romantic opportunities while holding a candle for your Twin.

2. Why should you let go and move on?
Knight of Rainbows – Slowing down

quote:
The Knight of Rainbows is a reminder that, just like this tortoise, we carry our home with us wherever we go. There is no need to hurry, no need to seek shelter elsewhere. Even as we move into the depths of the emotional waters, we can remain self-contained and free from attachments. It is a time when you are ready to let go of any expectations you have had about yourself or other people, and to take responsibility for any illusions you might have been carrying. There is no need to do anything but rest in the fullness of who you are right now.
If desires and hopes and dreams are fading away, so much the better. Their disappearance is making space for a new quality of stillness and acceptance of what is, and you are able to welcome this development in a way you have never been able to before. Savor this quality of slowing down, of coming to rest and recognizing that you are already at home.

I think this card is suggesting you need to let go because you feel ready to do so. Your previous relationship does not serve you anymore, it is slowing down, bugging down on your flowering process. It means you have come to terms with your old relationship and are ready to move forward.

3. Your short-term outlook (0-3 months)
Knight of Water – Trust

quote:
Now is the moment to be a bungee jumper without the cord! And it is this quality of absolute trust, with no reservations or secret safety nets, that the Knight of Water demands from us. There is a tremendous sense of exhilaration if we can take the jump and move into the unknown, even if the idea scares us to death. And when we take trust to the level of the quantum leap, we don't make any elaborate plans or preparations. We don't say, "Okay, I trust that I know what to do now, and I'll settle my things and pack my suitcase and take it with me." No, we just jump, with hardly a thought for what happens next. The leap is the thing, and the thrill of it as we free-fall through the empty sky. The card gives a hint here, though, about what waits for us at the other end--a soft, welcoming, yummy pink, rose petals, juicy...c'mon!

It seems like in the next 3 months there will be opportunities presenting themselves, in the form of this Knight of Water, a sensitive man, with a willingness to take the plunge for your and indulge in his feelings for you.

4. Your long-term outlook (3-12 months)
9 of Water – Laziness

quote:
This gentleman clearly thinks he's got it made. He sits in his big over-stuffed chair, wearing his sunglasses, shaded by his umbrella, with his pink slippers and his piña colada in his hand. He doesn't have the energy to get up and do anything because he thinks he's done it already. He hasn't yet turned to see the mirror cracking around him on his right, a sure sign that the place he thinks he's finally arrived at is about to shatter and dissolve before his very eyes.
The message this card brings is that this poolside resort is not your final destination. The journey isn't over yet, as that white bird flying into the vastness of the sky is trying to show. Your complacency might have arisen from a real sense of achievement, but now it's time to move on. No matter how fuzzy the slippers, how tasty the piña colada, there are skies upon skies still waiting to be explored.

In your long-term outlook it seems like you will very much indulge in pleasing your senses and your earthy nature. Hey, it’s not bad at all! I think after all that you’ve been through, you deserve it fully! It seems like you have a very sensual adventure ahead of you. The card is only advising to not rest on your laurels and think you nailed the perfect relationship already. Relationships need constant work to keep them working for you.

5. When will a new love appear in your life?

A new love will come when you will be ready to approach it with innocence, with an open heart and mind, when you will leave behind your old concepts of what relationships should be like and just embrace the experience for what it is – a wonderful journey full of surprises!
This is the Sun from the regular Tarot, so if I had to guess a timing, I think it will be in spring or summer.

6. What you need to do to prepare for this new love?
9 of Fire – Exhaustion

quote:
This is the portrait of one whose whole life energy has been depleted in his efforts to keep fueling the enormous and ridiculous machine of self-importance and productivity. He has been so busy "keeping it all together" and "making sure everything runs smoothly", that he has forgotten to really rest. No doubt he can't allow himself to be playful. To abandon his duty for a trip to the beach could mean the whole structure might come tumbling down.

The message of this card is not just about being a workaholic, though. It is about all the ways in which we set up safe but unnatural routines for ourselves and, by doing so, keep the chaotic and spontaneous away from our doors. Life isn't a business to be managed, it's a mystery to be lived. It's time to tear up the time-card, break out of the factory, and take a little trip into the uncharted. Your work can flow more smoothly from a relaxed state of mind.

This card advises you that in order to prepare yourself for love, you have to make room for it in your life and in your heart, to set time aside for fun activities (you might meet this new man in one of your outings), for relaxation. It is also saying to release yourself from old relationship patterns and open to spontaneity and excitement.

Don`t try so hard. This gentleman and me defy any odds, probably not even the lawas of nature are valid in this instance.

BTW I am clearly awaiting the equivalent cards of

5 of cups
7 of cups - definitely!
8 of cups
the hanged man
the hermit
the moon
and probably the 10 of swords and/ or 9 of swords

and not one pentacle card,e xcept perhaps the 5 of pentacles.

In short I expect the cards to spell traumatic disaster through delusional daydreaming.

Wow, Hera! I need to reread this again to grasp it fully. It was so beautiful, I was just impatiently scrolling down anxcious to see what card is next.

You have invested so much time in it - THANK YOU again!

I have really, really hard time letting go -now the Taurus but as rule whatever, I do perceive it as defeat, as not succeeding to make the whatever it is work. I am aware of this problem I have and am trying to mend it. But I have very hard time doing so!

Once again you have my Gratitude and may all the best come to you!

My question How should I proceed with my ex? How does he feel about me? if that can be answered through tarot. we have a child, but live long distance. Maybe I should add that I kind of have made a decision regarding him already (a previous reading got ACE OF SWORD) as I cannot just get him out of my life and we both recognize that we want one another just not the same things in life. Am I on the right path then is my ultimate question.

Thank you I hope the background helps and I look forward to your answer.

I am a little confused. Do you want to get back together with him or do you want to let him go? Or just want a general relationship reading?

Toptops, I understand better than you think. It took me 3 years to get over a Taurus (me having Taurus Venus...). I also took it as a personal failure, that I didn't make it work, but you know what honey, there are two people in a relationship. It is not just your fault it ended, you both probably made mistakes. Recognize yours with an open mind, don't judge yourself harshly for the break-up. Sometimes, no matter how hard we try, things just don't go our way and we must accept them as such... Forgive and try to move on. And give the Cancer dude a chance.

Goodluck!

Whatever you give to a woman, she will make it GREATER. Give her SPERM, she will give you a BABY. Give her a HOUSE, she will give you a HOME. Give her GROCERIES, she will give you a MEAL. Give her LOVE, and she will give you her HEART! She multiplies and enlarges what she is given. So, if you give her CR@P, be prepared to receive a ton of SH!T!

Hi Hera,

May I have a reading please?

If ok with you, I'd like to ask about me and my ex-bf (not the current enigma). I am still friends with him and friends with his wife too. I just want to check what the subconscious feelings are between us and maybe even his wife. Just want to check that it is safe to maintain the friendship or not (checking if anyone is harboring any uncomfortable/undesirable feelings for the friendships).

Thanks a million!

Sure, Yuting. I have not set a limit for these readings and don't intend to, it gives me great pleasure to read with this deck. Just please be patient until I get to you, these are a bit more sophisticated and it takes me a while to do a reading. But know that I will get to you when your time will come.

READING FOR CERIDWEN – SACRED RELATIONSHIP

Hi, Ceri, for you and your gentleman I did a spread called “The Sacred Relationship reading”, designed by Nicki Scully and Linda Star Wolf.

1. Khnum - This card describes who you are at present, and the internal and external structures of your life.

Well, I don’t think laziness is your issue, but rather your complacency with loving in your head (and your dreams) rather than in real life. It may be soothing for a while, sure you can rest there if you enjoy it, but you have to know you’ll have to wake up to real love sooner or later. You cannot avoid it forever, it would be a shame to deny yourself of this wonderful (yet sometimes painful) experience. You have to get up from that chair and start working in that direction one of these days, when you will feel ready to do so. But know that you need to do it.

2. Horus - Who you are becoming in the lens of your focus, and where you are going with this relationship.

I think this gentleman is haunting your life because he wants you to become a more authentic human being, to live up to your dreams and aspirations, to take your destiny in your own hands rather than being a leaf in the wind, to make you aware of your true nature and push you to embrace it.

3. Sobek - It describes who you have been and what you need to let go of to grow.
6 of Clouds – The Burden

quote:
When we carry a load of shoulds and shouldn'ts imposed on us by others we become like this ragged, struggling figure trying to make his way uphill. "Go faster, try harder, reach the top!" shouts the foolish tyrant he carries on his shoulder, while the tyrant himself is crowned with an imperious rooster. If life these days feels like just a struggle from the cradle to the grave, it could be time to shrug your shoulders and see what it feels like to walk without these characters on your back.

You have your own mountains to conquer, your own dreams to fulfill, but you will never have the energy to pursue them until you release yourself from all the expectations you've gathered from others but now think are your own. Chances are they exist only in your own mind, but that doesn't mean they can't weigh you down. It's time to lighten up, and send them on their way.

I think this card is speaking about all the imposed conditionings from early on (from our parents, our friends, society in general). Everyone in your life expects you to be in a certain way, which at times can become burdensome if you are no longer staying true to your inner self, which this relationship is trying to teach you. You need to break free from other people’s opinions and narrow concepts of yourself and find your true essence – and stick with it! You no longer have to do the “proper” thing. Remember in that dream, you talked back to that woman – do you think that scene has something to say to you? You wouldn’t do that in real life, but your subconscious is pushing you to stop this “proper” behavior and start being true to yourself and yourself only. Don’t let other people’s expectations burden you any longer.
4. Sekhmet - The action through which you will gain compassion and understanding about the relationship or situation you are in.
Major Arcana 0 – The Fool (Why am I NOT surprised??)

quote:
Moment to moment, and with every step, the Fool leaves the past behind. He carries nothing more than his purity, innocence and trust, symbolized by the white rose in his hand. The pattern on his waistcoat contains the colors of all four elements of the tarot, indicating that he is in harmony with all that surrounds him. His intuition is functioning at its peak. At this moment the Fool has the support of the universe to make this jump into the unknown. Adventures await him in the river of life.

The card indicates that if you trust your intuition right now, your feeling of the 'rightness' of things, you cannot go wrong. Your actions may appear 'foolish' to others, or even to yourself, if you try to analyze them with the rational mind. But the 'zero' place occupied by the Fool is the numberless number where trust and innocence are the guides, not skepticism and past experience.

I don’t wish to add anything else here. We have discussed this card before and the description is self-explanatory.
5. The Sphinx - Carries the voice of the Sphinx, the oracle that informs all of your relationships from the bigger picture in the akashic records.
9 of Clouds - Sorrow

quote:
The image is of Ananda, the cousin and disciple of Gautam Buddha. He was at Buddha's side constantly, attending to his every need for forty-two years. When Buddha died, the story is told that Ananda was still at his side, weeping. The other disciples chastised him for his misunderstanding: Buddha had died absolutely fulfilled; he should be rejoicing. But Ananda said, "You misunderstand. I'm weeping not for him but for myself, because for all these years I have been constantly at his side but I have still not attained." Ananda stayed awake for the whole night, meditating deeply and feeling his pain and sorrow. By the morning, it is said, he was enlightened.
Times of great sorrow have the potential to be times of great transformation. But in order for transformation to happen we must go deep, to the very roots of our pain, and experience it as it is, without blame or self-pity.

You are feeling unfulfilled because you yearn for an other-worldly kind of love, one that is more spiritual than concrete. This card, I think, suggests that. Because you search for something out of your reach, you feel the deep sorrow of separation from “the other”, even though you are deeply connected on the spiritual plane, you probably never will be on the earthly one. To stop your sorrow you must let go of the unattainable ones; you will always be connected. But while you yearn for something out of your reach, you will always feel unfulfilled. Let them go and search for someone who can love you back, in a concrete and real and earthly way (pun intended) .
