Topic: Would anyone mind taking a look at this Horary chart please?

Hi 
I'm a complete novice but am starting to learn a little about horary astrology. Just wondered if anyone could help me interpret this chart? I'm the querent and the question is will SG and SW get back together? I know the Asc is my significator and is it right that the ruler of the 7th house is his? What would it mean to the question for example that the Moon is falling in that 7th house? I read somewhere that the Moon is also the significator of the female in the relationship. Any help would be much appreciated!  IP: Logged |

Like you I'm trying my hand at horary so I'm gonna write here what I see in this chart which can be completely invalid. So wait for the expert to add their comments here. I'd like however for any expert commenting on this chart to address how right or wrong my reading is here:In this chart your significator is the SUN ruler of Leo on the ascendant. His significator is Uranus since aquarius is on the cusp of the 7th house. The Moon as I read represents the relationship although it does represent the woman and the sun the man. In any case, the sun is in the 4th house in sagittarius and Uranus is going retrograde in the 8th house. The 8th house is the 2nd house from the 7th and represents the future of the relationship. so the fact that uranus is going retrograde may indicate that he's re-considering the relationship? Uranus is making a sextile with the Sun (you) which I believe is a good thing but I'm not sure what this means for the future of the relationship since Uranus is not making contacts with the moon which is in the 7th house, the moon would represent the relationship. However, the fact that Uranus is retrograde shows at least that it is moving/reconsidering the relationship as it is going back towards the moon... I'd like to add also that the dispositor of the sun is Jupiter which is retrograding towards Uranus (trying to approach it?) while Uranus is retrograding (running away from?) jupiter...which is not a good sign.
This is my very amateurish reading/possibly completely misleading...looking forward to more expert input. In any case, good luck Seeker IP: Logged |

Wow Offthewall I think you nailed it!! That seems to make perfect sense for what appears to be going on at the moment - he said he's scared because he's never felt like this before and it's tying him to me/the relationship, which is awkward for him because he wants to relocate. I can't do that really because I have a child from a previous relationship who I feel ought to have easy contact with his father. So SW is running running from feelings, running from the problem and running from me. But I do get a sense that he can't quite bring himself to leave, hence the retrograde motion he's represented by. I was trying to talk it over with him and find out if we could keep things going long distance so I suppose that's the Jupiter 'chasing' Uranus. Have stopped altogether now. I always think if you have to beat someone over the head and drag them into the relationship it's not all that romantic haha!  So I've decided to step back an leave it to the Universe Thanks so much for your help!! IP: Logged |

You made my day Seeker! I'm glad that it resonates. I hope that I haven't made any technical mistake: such as moon being out-of-bound or too early to tell...However, the fact that you mention that you have to stay put because of your child and the need for him/her to have a relationship with the father is reflected also since the sun is in the fourth house. At the same time, both Uranus and Jupiter will be going direct in two weeks. Uranus will go into the 9th house (he moves - travels) and you go into the 10th (which i think is career, the MC) in any case the Sun (you) being in the 4th (home - your emotional base) says it all...Both you and he will move on to what is best for you although of course.
