Asteroids can keep one busy, forever. There are , always, new ones to learn. There are,always, exciting ways that the asteroids play out in charts. The asteroid Lucifer is the story of pride. The” myth” asteroids follow the myths from which they are derived. One must hone down the myth to a few central themes. Then,one has the meaning to which one may apply the chart. Lucifer wanted to be number one. He was the most beautiful being ever created. He was not an ugly creature, as some people surmise. He had illuminating beauty such that one ‘s breath would be taken away. Lucifer wanted to be God. Lucifer saw men worship God and he wanted the worship for himself. He rebelled against God. That was not a wise move and it sealed his fate, forever. His final destination is the Lake of Fire. Pride brought Lucifer to this. He was not happy with his portion. He wanted all the power and all the glory. As such, he fell to nothing. The asteroid Lucifer, in the chart, will show where you have inordinate pride.

If you want to continuing on, then I have no problem keeping it bumped for you. Like I said, I just don't want to seem pushy.

I am going to work on your chart right now [I know, I've said that many times. But I will say there will be days where I will be absent due to busy schedule and hectic mindset. But I have nothing to do and still 5 hrs to spare before I head to work (just barely 4am here at the moment) so I will try and do more work on your sesquares...try and have a breakthrough as I am just exploring them now].

If you do wish to take a little break I can just leave this thread alone for now and we can come back when and *if* you aren't so swamped.

Gotta say, I really do appreciate all the help you give out to others. Truly admirable, but don't run yourself short. You need time to take care of you as well, love.

Nessus is opposite them. You may struggle with feelings of wanting to abuse(Nessus conj merc) and it would be verbal or mental abuse.It may be over simple life needs such as finances.

Your locked and repressed emotions and passions are tied to Nessus in the opposition Maybe you are afraid to open them as you are afraid of your Nessus coming out and abusing.

This seems to fit. What do you think?

With asteroids, one must do one’s own research, as there can be precious little information available. I have been checking out Pholus in charts and have come to this conclusion. Pholus explodes what it touches. If Pholus touches Chiron, the planet of pain, a person will explode with his pain. If Pholus touches Ceres, the asteroid of unconditional love, the person may be a teacher who gives unconditional love to her students. This was the case in a chart I did. If one persons Pholus touches another persons planet, the Pholus person can make the planet person “explode” in that area. By explode, I mean come forth and break open. I liken it to an infection which comes to a head. Then, it can open and heal.. Each energy is part of being human. One must embrace each part of the chart as one must embrace each part of oneself.

Very accurate. Honestly, I think the abuse was toward myself. I have repressed all my deepest emotions from fear or ridicule. I was so harsh toward myself. No matter how thin I have been, I always thought I was "fat and disgusting". I truly hated myself. I figured if I opened up emotionally and/or sexually with anyone, they would think the same and screw me over. I never thought anything positive about myself. I think I projected that out on others. I worried that I was too miserable and would make others feel the same way toward me. I had a lot of jealousy and hatred toward other females, so I had negative thoughts about them.

I am SO happy that I have overcome this. I am a happy person. I take care of myself physically and emotionally [although, of course I have my downfalls from time to time]but ever since I met my boyfriend [let's call him T so I don't have to keep referring to him as "boyfriend" haha]I started to learn to love myself. I had never been so comfortable with anyone as I have been with T. He allowed me to open up in ways I never had before. He taught me things about myself--qualities and abilities I didn't even know I had. I have done the same for him. Over the last couple years I have grown confident, more outspoken, open minded, extremely family oriented. Other people's success and happiness make me smile, seeing someone else [even females] looking nice I am happy by that. I have no more jealousy. Actually, I'm thinking I want to check out 8th house transits for when I starting dating T. Check out our synastry. I wonder where his Pandora is...hmm.

I am glad you are looking at my asteroids, Ami. It is explaining so much to me.

Reading this made me smile. Deep down I have always had an innate need to explore the whys of existence, as you put. As a kid I was this way. I was so curious and always asking questions. Drove my mother insane with my constant questions. With every question, came another question. Even if I didn't fully understand something, I knew the entire truth wasn't being told, I could sense it and I'd continue to ask, ask, ask away. When it came to adult subjects that my mother wasn't comfortable to answer, she'd give me a half a**ed answer and I'd get mad and tell her she wasn't telling me everything and eventually she'd let me in on the whole thing. Did me good though, I learned a lot and knew how to protect myself.

As for upheavals, there weren't many. At least not during my childhood. I had an amazing childhood, really. Got to travel a lot and meet new people, see different things, explore new places. My parents didn't have a lot of money but some how we were spoiled every birthday and at Christmas our living room was full of presents [my mom was shop savvy and bought throughout the year].

I think with the Pluto opposition, a lot of the things I learned while exploring and questioning, it scared me. I learned real quick that there was a dark scary world out there. I learned what it felt like to be lied to. Growing up I became very close with an uncle of mine. I learned he was a junky. He overdosed in our house. He went ahead and slept in my sisters bed so my dad went to go pull all the sheets and bedding off to wash it and he found a needle. He broke into our home and stole thousands and thousands of dollars worth of my dad's hunting gear. He stole my dad's ID which almost resulted in my DAD being thrown in jail for grand theft auto (uncle stole a car). That was when I became a very quiet, and suspicious person. I changed within an instant. Never been so hurt and betrayed. I admired him at first. BUT I am happy to say he has been clean for a year and a half and is now working at the rehab center. He's going to school to become a drug and alcohol counselor. For someone who's been shootin/smokin heroin for over 25 years he's done pretty well for himself! Serious miracle that is.

I will get back to you on this one! I have a lot to say with this. I will tell you know it is accurate. But I have some stuff around the house to get done. When I have more time I will sit down and explain it. Then of course get back to your chart!
