2011 came with a lot of hurdles... my mom had a massive heartattack in late 2010, was hopitalized for months. My brother (43) died from a sudden overdose of prescribed meds in Jan, and then his wife took off with his 2 daughters in Sept. I stupidly got myself a DWI in March, have been working w/lawyer to get it dismissed. Meanwhile, my job has been highly stressful and I'm debating whether to look for a new opportunity.What disappoints me the most is that I went out with 15 different men in 2011 and not one of them sparked a real interest. Some of them I entertained for a few months despite KNOWING in the back of my mind that as soon as it came time to get serious, my gut was saying "no no no!" so I walked away. Nothing wrong with those men, but just no real connection so I ditched. I'm really trying to find someone and I'm having no luck. I'm cute looking, I'm social, I have a decent job, and I want a family. I don't know how much more I can do... I cannot go through another year like this. I'm lonely, I've been single all my life and I'm finally ready to settle down, fall in love and make a commitment. I'll admit my life was full of distractions and other priorities so I never pursued a relationship until now, but I'm ready and I'm trying it's just...no luck. Hopefully 2012 my outlook will be brighter? Any advice? HEre are a few charts!
