A mystic rectangle in terms of pattern is when your chart forms a rectangle with two pairs/groups of oppositions and each of those 4 points/groups of planets forms a trine on one side and a sextile on the other side to the other pair of opposition. Visually, you see a rectangle.Typically opposition means struggle to balance. So the rectangle means there are two sets of distinct balancing/tension. However, each of the planets in tension are at the same time supportive of the balancing act in the other pair of oppositions. As a result, it is a balancing act of the 4 corners. When one pair of opposition is acting in tension (usually different life situations tend to trigger a specific pair more than the other), then the other pair of opposing planets could be used to enable the balancing act of the pair in action. When a person is young and still learning to channel the different corners to help handle the oppositions, the tension of the 2 opposing pairs might give quite a bit of frustration. But as the person grows older and has become more adapt handling the energy, a mystic rectangle will make handling the opposition much easier. Also a mystic rectangle means at least 4 connected planets covering all 4 quadrants of the chart, which means the native is likely quite an adaptive/all round person in handling life's situations. I would say you have a marginal mystic rectancle. Your 2h Pluto, 8H Moon/Merc and 4H Neptune form a right angle triangle, which translate to tension between Plu and Moon/Merc can be softened/handled with the help of Neptune. The other opposition chiron/Neptune would be less strong as it is less exact and does not involve personal planets/luminaries. Also Chiron's orb with Pluto and Moon/Merc are wider. So I expect you will feel the effect of the 2H/8H opposition pair more. IP: Logged |

Thank you! Im not actually sure what an opposition with personal planets "feels" like, but ive been told im really intense for a taurean so if that is how it manifests, emotionally speaking, yes i do feel it haha. The reason i always aspect chiron is because pain is a huge part of my life. i've not had an easy time here. at all. but thank you for the info. also do i have a grand trine? i don't know what the degrees have to be to qualify. Grand trine is an equilateral triangle. All 3 points are connected by trine only. They are ideally in the same element (ie all in fire signs or all earth).IP: Logged |
