We are all born in the same year--so many outer planets are similar. Both Loves have all same planets except for Moon and Mercury.

With both of them--I feel a deep, inexplicable connection that I don't feel with other zodiac signs. But with Love #2--it's an uncontrollable EPIC PASSION.

1) Do the North/South Nodes play a big part? I find it interesting b/c we all have the Gem/Sag SUN attraction PLUS our Nodes (Soul) are also on the Gem/Sag axis.

2) Do the DECANS matter?
With Girl #2- we are born almost exactly 6 months apart (1 day difference) so the Decans are also Opposite.
I am of the Libra decan of Gemini.
She is of the Aries decan of Sagittarius.

You're actually providing a very rough sketch here, so, forgive me for staying superficial, or making incorrect assumptions.

First off, having NNode in Gemini amongst the three of you would be noteworthy if you weren't contemporaries. Here, it's just like the generational nature of the outer planets.

I'd LOVE to have your Ascendant, because then I could explain if you're going for Sag due to being a Gemini Rising, thereby being easily attracted to those whose Sun falls in your 7H. But, again, I can only guess.

We ARE attracted to patterns. I can't tell you how many boyfriends I've had who were born with Virgo Sun. In high school, it expanded to include some Libra planets, but the one consistent factor (which used to flummox me) is Sag Moon. Just not what you'd think for a Virgo Ascendant / Libra Sun / Scorpio Moon.

Heh. Looks as if you had a better emotional rapport with your lunar Cancerian; granted, it might've been too intense for your Gemini Sun, so you tried a double-Sag instead the next time you encountered a Jupiter-born. Fair enough.

Again, since they were born in the same year, what you're -really- looking at is the fact that you're drawn to the commonalities between their charts.

Something about this combination of Sag Sun + Venus-Mars in Libra does it for you. The Moon and Mercury are like puzzle pieces. You'll keep trying to find the right one, exchanging this for that, until it comes together.

If you want to understand the attraction better, dig deeper. Yes, decans. Yes, dwads. What're their Ascendants? Where do your planets fall in their charts and vice versa? Was there a lot of 6H versus 7H energy, making one relationship seem more like 'work' ?

In regard to the Nodes, that depends. Clearly, your second Sag is a candidate for a SNode-Moon conjunction, and both are SNode-Suns, which means they've returned to complete what they failed to in a previous go. For you, this means that your Sun falls on their NNode - if it's in orb. You were there to teach them something about themselves, to help guide them back onto the right path. NNode relationships are always influential - again, it's about degrees here. The first one, however, had to learn something about communication - if it's in orb. (Mercury-SNode). And you're all here in regard to religion / philosophy, defying the convention, individuality, spirituality, and the search for higher truth. (Jupiter/Uranus/Neptune). Again ... IF in orb.

Sorry to sound like a broken record, but orbs matter!

Now. You're asking about attraction? Check some asteroids. 'Specially, Eros. If you find Sagittarius to be where your Eros lies - especially if it's with Psyche - then, mystery solved.

Other potentials? Since you're speaking of 'love' - Amor. That's the unconditional / doesn't-matter-what / loyal / VERY binding sort of bonding energy. Valentine's pretty spiffy, too.

Where's your Part of Love? Marriage? ... Sagittarius?

I wouldn't gasp at the decans or dwads UNLESS you, again, find a Sagittarius dwad. Can't have a Sag decan as a Gem, so I'd check the dwads. Same with Moon.

I have an Aquarius Sun decan, Taurus dwad, Cancer Moon decan, and Leo Moon dwad.

The most common 'companionship' pattern for me? Aquarius-Sagittarius. SOME combination thereof - be it Sun, Moon, or with Mercury, Venus, or Mars. This used to stump me beyond reason. One day, I realised: 'Aha!'

I also fell for a few notable Taurean men, and the few close, but tumultuous female friends I've had? Taurus. Sun or Moon. I've probably been in relationships with four men with Leo rising; almost married a man with Leo Moon. Dated a man with Leo Venus. Plenty of those Virgo Sun men had Mercury in Leo, too.

I have the 'Sag' thing hardcore, too, as I'd mentioned. There are lots of reasons, but why it keeps hitting romantically / or at least in a deep, affection - my Venus is in the Sag dwad, and my Mars is already in Sag. Top that off? The Sag Mars is in the Sag dwad.

Yeah. That'll do it. Especially if you're a chick.

There are lots of reasons a Geminian is 'destined' for a Sag. You just have to find which are applying to you. I suggest checking their dwads as well. You may find your lunar Cancerian has a Pisces decan and Gemini dwad, for example. Your lunar Sag could have a Pisces or Gemini dwad - even if the decan won't jump elements.

I'm VERY new to Astrology aspects, so forgive me, what is a Dwad?

The whole reason why I'm even asking is this-- Both these Sag girls Chased ME!!
Yes, THEY Chased ME like crazy. I, typical Gemini, wasn't really sure what was going on at first. With both of them, I fell in love with them after I got to know them and THEN hence, my "Irresistible Attraction" to them.

Dwad ... dwad ... dwad ...

Think of breaking down the signs into about 2.5 degrees, give or take.

If you're VERY new to everything, you may not want to bother with dwads just yet. Still, they can certainly shed some light on things.

Regarding their chasing you - that can be evaluated many ways. The first, and most important, being their own charts - and there will be plenty of commonalities.

For one, Venus and Mars in the same sign - especially if conjunct - will incline the individual toward being comfortable and free with their sexuality and expression of romantic desire - unless there are some other aspects putting a damper on things.

By design, Libra is an outward / projective energy. I'm not saying you won't find a docile example of Libra - but there's a reason we've got Margaret Thatcher, and the 'iron fist in the velvet glove'!

Both of these girls are Libra Venus-Mars; conjunction? Perhaps; that I don't know. I DO know, that if their Marses aspect their natal Suns, they're very comfortable pursuing what they want. In this case, you!

Indeed, some synastries will 'induce' more forward versus receptive behaviour. In regard to that, this is what's typically going on.

1. Mars aspecting Venus.

Can't say with info provided. Your Gemini Mars could just as easily been trining their Venuses, rather than their Marses squaring your Venus in Cancer, y'know? In any case, the Mars is always in pursuit of the Venus - at least, traditionally. When you've got a Mars-heavy Venus (such as the conjunction natally) there's likely to be more reciprocity than chase - or equal levels of pursuit. Those Venus placements don't wait around to be wooed.

2. Mars aspecting Sun.

Mars-Sun aspects in any synastry bring attraction, energy, and the 'wow' factor. You're drawn to each other, with the Mars being attracted to the Sun. In turn, the Sun tends to boost Mars, creating a reciprocal dynamic - unless, again, other factors are preventing it.

3. Eros!

The asteroid Eros is ALWAYS the pursuer of Psyche. This is one thing I see as remaining pretty solid. The one thing that can modify it is if there's a strong aspect between two Eroses. Then it's pretty much up in the air who's going after who. But if their Eros aspects pretty much anything in your chart in terms of personal planets - Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars - even Mercury (they'll be attracted to your mind - maybe even your voice!) you can bet money they're turned-on by you in some respect, and if other factors allow it, will knock over barricades to make sure you're aware of it. At the very least, they'll make it known they dig you.

It's Eros, incidentally, that tends to get people into trouble, I've noticed. It's a soulful, powerful kind of passion. That 'epic attraction' you're describing. It goes beyond Venus-Mars, 'I find you sexy; let's go bang.' It reaches into the recesses of what we find to be on the true-love menu. It's attraction on ALL levels besides mental (you need Merc for that): physical, emotional, AND spiritual.

Potent stuff, indeed.

Check your Eros.

And, to close regarding dwads again, here's an example.

I have Eros in 10' Scorpio conjunct Mercury in the 3H. It's all very mind-meld for me. I'm into intelligence, cleverness and wit. That happens first, categorically. The combination lends me to be drawn to intense, brooding types who are brainy, sarcastic, and private. Some of my closest bonds have been with my cowriters and creative partners. Very intense stuff.

With my longest-running cowriter, and most recent costar, we have an interesting affinity / simpatico between our Psyche-Eros placements - which isn't immediately evident, with his 10' Eros and 25' Psyche - both in Aquarius, and my aforementioned 10' Scorpio Eros and 20' Gemini Psyche. Sure, we've got Psyche trine Psyche, but the intense understanding that only comes from a strong Psyche-Eros bond just isn't present in a very loose Eros-Psyche trine, Eros tightly squared Eros, or the lack of aspect between my Eros and his Psyche.

So, of course, I checked the dwads. These days, I don't question the astrology - I question the data, or the depth of knowledge.

Here's what I found:

I remember looking at his Eros-Psyche in Aquarius, and thinking, 'THIS is my muse? I don't get it!' I just had NO idea that my own Psyche-Eros were both hiding this Aquarian component, thanks to the dwads. THEN it clicked. Boy, did it REALLY click.
