I take it this is some juvenile code for attacking comments then??

SaggiMC,

All MC2012 was saying was for AriesDragon to stop playing the computer game on his PC/XBox 360/Playstation 3, whichever it may be, and ask some questions about astrology.

Edited out about the reference to "Jer"

There was nothing caustic in that statement.

Thanks yourstrulyalways I'm glad it shows that I'm a good father. It was devastating for my daughter and myself when her mother passed away. We are doing the best we can to know she's in heaven and at peace.
I do play GTA on playstation to get things off my mind. I think some of us men do that lol about the durian thing, I have no idea what that was all about and I'm over it too. Thanks for your response bud

Jerry,

My name is Ian. To make it more personal, I have four children, but two are in Heaven (both daughters). My two sons are with me and I treasure them dearly every day. My heart is with you on the loss of your wife, bud.

My daughter's mother died when she was crossing the street and she got hit by a car. It's hard to talk about. If you don't mind I wanna hear your story about your daughters. It's nice to have someone to talk to who went through the same thing. Talk soon bud

All though my life, my childhood dream was to become a father. I wanted fatherhood more than anything else in the world while growing up, and I had visions of fatherhood as early as five years old. Being a father fulfills a large part of my mission in life.

My wife and I lost our first child, a daughter, two days after birth to a rare genetic disease. Signs of this disease did not show up in the standard 24th week ultrasound. The bottom line is that the kidneys stopped functioning sometime between the 27th and 30th weeks. Mal-formed kidneys produce a rapid or gradual loss of amniotic fluid. Such a loss produces underformed lungs, the baby cannot breathe, which in turn causes gradual brain damage. At birth, underdeveloped lungs make the bad kidneys moot. Ventrilator support can only occur for so long, and one cannot live on pure oxygen forever.

My second daughter was loss through a late term mishap, and perhaps also from the inception of this genetic kidney disease, but medicine cannot provide full confirmation. The accident occurred in early March where there was a rainstorm, followed by snow and then a rapid deep freeze. My wife stepped out on a sheet of black ice on the driveway leading to the side door steps. I'm fortunate to just have my wife because she slipped and her head bonked the right angle corner of concrete steps, causing a concussion and the worry of sub-cranial hematoma. I wasn't about to lose my wife due to cranial internal bleeding. MRI showed that she was alright, and that our baby, a daughter on the ultrasound (again, not 100% conclusive) was alright. Then, as April progressed, despite weekly monitoring, the baby got more and more lethargic and died in utero. We had a pre-mature third trimester birth of a dead baby.

My eldest son was born in between both daughters and had the same genetic issues. Given information from the death of my eldest daughter, we were able to intervene very aggressively and save his life. He had a kidney transplant as a baby at 9 months old. He is now 16 years old (10th grade) and doing well and leading a regular life, albeit with chronic illness for the rest of his life.

My second boy, and my youngest child, is fully healthy and is now 7 years old (1st grade).

My daughters are buried side by side. I thought that shopping for a casket and undertaker three days after my daughter's birth was the hardest thing I had done in my life. I was incorrect. Burying my daughters was the hardest thing.

About 16 months after my second daughter was buried, I nearly lost my life myself in 9/11/2001. I was up on the 82nd Floor of Two World Trade Center (Centre) that fateful morning. I was about 12 minutes from being turned into dust and debris.

Behind people are real life stories. I'm sure you have quite a few of your own too.

My best to you.

Thank you for sharing ian. That is such a heartfelt gut wrenching story it brought tears to my eyes. I can't even imagine losing my children and I can't believe you survived the 911 tragedy. God still has plans for you. I am not married but I'm blessed to have my mom and grandma around with my 3 kids. I have 2 girls and 1 boy. My dad passed away in 2007. I was 30 yrs old. He's the one person who I felt hurt over the most because he was cold and emotionally unavailable, he didn't seem to care about me. I am glad you have a good wife, that is my dream.
