I'm posting my progressed chart for the date that I decided to end an abusive relationship. It took almost 2 months to get physically away from him (happened in another country) and this is for basically the date that I made the decision and booked the flight. The date I actually left was almost 3 weeks later. The relationship was about 4 years long and we lived together. Please let me know if anything jumps out at you as to what might have brought me to that point. IP: Logged |

wilddddd guess here....perhaps saturn at 0 degrees in cancer trine exact juno at 0 degrees in pisces. Perhaps saturn gave you the strength to start fresh and let go of this relationship to leave room for a healthy new one (trine juno 0 degrees in pisces). ------------------ “Perfect love casts out fear. Where there is love there are no demands, no expectations, no dependency. I do not demand that you make me happy; my happiness does not lie in you. If you were to leave me, I will not feel sorry for myself; I enjoy your company immensely, but I do not cling.” -Anthony de Mello “First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.” Mahatma Gandhi quotes (Indian Philosopher, internationally esteemed for his doctrine of nonviolent protest, 1869-1948) IP: Logged |

Yes, so much is touching that Saturn-Mars-Moon stellium in Cancer, in the 9th as well, which I point out because I was in a foreign country and left it.Can't help but notice Nessus there too... knowing that Nessus has something to do with power control, abuse pscyhological/physical/sexual, taking responsability, resolving situations, healing of abuse patterns... I wonder if the Sedna conjunct the Sun and Mercury had something to do with it... I read that Sedna comes to play when a person doesn't allow victimization anymore when they have learned the lesson. This conjunction is in the 7th house of relationships...

Perhaps Eris transiting your 7th conjunct moon gave you the emotional strength to leave him. IP: Logged |

Eris is best known as the goddess of strife. She was known to often follow her brother Aries into battle. She frequently helped him to cause quarrels and lawlessness. Authors say that she helped to cause the Trojan War by tossing her apple of discord into the guests at the wedding of Peleus and Thetis. Thress of these guests then competed to win the golden apple. http://www.gods-heros-myth.com/godpages/eris.html IP: Logged |

I think that the progressed Moon (very close appl. to progr. Mars) is the direct trigger here that gave you the power, courage and braveness to take that step finally. IP: Logged |

Good point she does have progressed moon/mars/saturn stellium at 0 degrees in cancer. Cancer in 0 degrees is very significant....and this stellium trines her Juno at 0 degrees pisces. 0 degrees in cardinal are fresh starts and new beginnings. Perhaps saturn and mars gave your moon the strength to carry forth this new beginning. IP: Logged |

Progressed charts are not meant to be read as *stand alones* they should be read on the outside of natal chart..progressed planets/charts are more 'internal' changes, evolvements rather than 'events or external' matters. I don't read prog charts as stand alones it's more important to see where these planets are moving in the natal chart Your natal chart is like a photograph as unique as your fingerprint, BUT the 10planets in the sky have not stayed where they were in your natal chart, they have all moved. Predictive astrology is mostly maths where those 10planets are now and the mathematical aspects they make to your natal charts ie: 180'=opposition, 90'=square, 60'=sextile and 120'=trine. So your personality, grows, develops, changes, matures as we get older, this is reflected by your sun sign changing from it's natal position to the next sign along, so does your Asc and MC sign change. In fact from sun to mars especially are important, as the outer planets really don't move much, using a 'day for a year' secondary progressions. What's the difference between Transits and Progressions? “Transits are the planets currently orbiting in the sky and the relationships they form to each other and additionally, to your chart. Transits happen for everyone. They're important and effect you personally when they contact a planet or point in your chart. Transits represent outside energy, things happening outside yourself. They describe external events and your responses to them. Progressions, however, move very slowly and are a natural progression of your original birth chart. The events and emotions they describe are part of you, deeply ingrained in your psyche, internal, and psychological. And as they form aspects, these inner feelings start to become more important and central to your life” http://www.artcharts.com/learn_astrology/progressed.html If you want to research more into Secondary progressions try here http://cafeastrology.com/secondaryprogressions.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astrological_progression http://www.aquamoonlight.co.uk/progressions.html http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=67 http://www.khaldea.com/rudhyar/astroarticles/progressionsinastrology.php http://astrolmass.com/progressions.htm http://www.astro.com/astrology/in_transits_e.htm http://skywriter.wordpress.com/2011/01/27/the-progressed-moon-through-the-12-houses/ solar arcs & secondary progressions http://www.kepler.edu/videos/0902SolarArc/Stathis_SolarArc_Feb09.pdf “2) The aspects formed by the progressed MC, ASC, Sun, and the planets (other than the Moon). These will indicate major trends for a year or more surrounding the date on which they become exact.” http://www.astrologymatch.com/progressed-chart.htm The most important of progressed planets is of course, sun & moon and then upto mars, as the outer planets hardly move by progression. Now like with transits, solar arcs --- it's what these progressed planets are doing NOW by mathematical aspect to your natal planets and Angles that is ultimately important.
