WEll for the first one Echo conj Pluto--I would say that someone tried to make you an Echo BUT you were too strong and did not let them.I will put up some info on Echo for you.

Echo conj Ixxion----hmmm I wil have to think about this as it is a weird one. Any ideas yourself?

I love to explore the charts with people. I do that rather than tell people things as I am a 3 year student and not a master lol

With paired asteroids, each is at either end of the pole. Healthy emotion is in the middle. With Echo, she is a mealy mouth. She has lost her identity. Her life is a singular search for Narcissus. She wants to love “the other” while she languishes because she cannot love herself. In present day language, she is the co-dependent and a severe case. She pines away for a man who will never love her. She tries desperately to get him to notice her. He cannot see beyond his own ego.It is all about him, in common terms. She will look longingly at him for the rest of her days unless she can figure out how to break the dilemma. The myths have keys to healing . In paired myths such as Echo and Narcissus, the answer is found in the opposite. Echo is too polarized in lack of identity. Narcissus has “too much identity” in that he cannot see beyond his ego needs. The answer is balance. Nature loves balance. Nature hates extremes. The emotional nature is no exception. Hence, for Echo, lost in longing, she needs to find the Narcissus in herself. She needs to look in her own mirror and celebrate her beauty. She needs to run down the street naked in all her glory because she is glorious.She needs to swagger as she enters a room. She needs to say” I am here. Let the party begin.” She needs to be outrageous. She needs to celebrate herself. She does not need a Narcissus on her arm to be somebody. You ARE somebody, Echo. You are just the last to know.

Mirroring is a psychological concept. The child must be mirrored by the mother for the child to, even, see that he is a separate self. What happens to the child who is not mirrored? He may exist in a sort of nether land. He may exist in some space between people and non-people. If you have, ever, been in this space, you will recognize what I am saying. Astrologically, the asteroid Echo is the story of the unmirrored person. In the picture used to depict the myth, one sees Narcissus looking in the pool of water, admiring his own image. Echo sits off, to the side, admiring Narcissus. In the myth, Echo languishes. If one added a logical conclusion to the myth, one may see Echo dying of the grief of lack of pure, self expression . Self expression is to the psyche, what food is to the body. One may live as an autonoman. However, one will live as the walking dead. Many people do, as you can tell if you look in their eyes.

For the person fortunate enough to be mirrored, he can see himself, as he is. He has access to his emotions and his thoughts, as effortlessly as a bird winging in the sky. Many people are not so fortunate. Their lives consist of the singular search to unleash Echo and to make Echo see himself. If Saturn conjuncts Echo, you have a unique pickle, as Saturn pushes Rocky down for the count, just as Rocky tries to stand. Blessed Saturn, it demands one’s guts.When it conjuncts Echo, it seems to demands ones voice.

What is the answer for the unmirrored Echo? It would not be fair to define the problem, yet have no answer. Alice Miller provides part of the answer with her concept of the Enlightened Witness. The unmirrored person needs to see himself. That is his core problem. However, the answer is not so simple. One must find an EW. Then, one must endeavor to show one’s true face.Both are very hard. The harder of the two is to find an EW, though. Alice Miller discusses the dilemma of the unmirrored child in the book “The Drama of the Gifted Child” Alice Miller is a pioneer in the field of child abuse. If one studies all of Miller’s books, one will see a central theme. The cure for childhood abuse is self expression, genuine self expression

Is Echo, lifeless without her Narcissus? Does she exist, merely to make Narcissus exist. I have seen the asteroid Narcissus drive someone to his death. His father’s Narcissus was on his Venus. Narcissus is a cruel hunter, in a seemingly innocent exterior. Narcissus looks beautiful, as in the myth. In the modern day, he may be handsome and wealthy. He has a beautiful mask, by definition. However, under the mask is smoke. That is why he needs an Echo, to buttress him up. Echo, for her turn, cannot need anything. She is punished for the simplest needs and wants, until she is content to be Cinderella, not wishing for the ball or the Prince. She may ceased to hope and dream, as she has found that these things cannot be grasped, as she has become smoke, as well.

The asteroid Ixiion is complete lawlessness with no care for the outcome. When it touches an asteroid such as Lilith, which is raw sexuality, or Nessus which is abuse/obsession, you can imagine what havoc it may wreak. Xiion can touch any planet or asteroid. I am watching it, in the charts, to see what I may find. Please, share any information you may have. I think there is a wealth of information in this asteroid

How do you see Ixiion conj Echo?
Ixiion is lawlessness and Echo is not voice. Any thoughts Ems?

Hm, not sure about this. I do tend to simultaneously say the same things, or do the same poses, and gestures as other people. It's freaky.. my friend once told me she felt she was looking into a mirror when looking at me 'cause we were both standing the exact same way and moving around simultaneously. I always thought it was the other person doing it but I think maybe I'm the one that does it unconsciously or maybe there's some telepathy going on? haha I don't even know if this pertains to it, just a thought.
