Hello

I am curious about grand trines and kites and I was wandering if someone could explain a bit more about them to me. I have done some reading on it, but I am not too sure what I can get from it to be fair.

I have posted my chart here.

http://www.eighthqz.com/t-natal-equal.gif

They say that trines can be unused gifts or talents and the kites help focus the energy of the trine. It appears that I have 2. So my energy is focused in 2 areas.

It does not help that I have my mars square saturn, so I actually find it difficult to get things finished and act on things.

My sister recently said I have all these ideas, but nothing is planted. its tough to hear, but very true.

How can I get the best out of my trines?

Can anyone give me some helpful insight?

Many thanks

Terry

ok, you have a mystic rectangle, kite and a cradle configuration...(which I have)

Cradle configuration
two x talent triangles or minor grand trines, the outer two linked by an opposition. It seems to be a mixed blessing, with potential but to due them being easy aspects can lack the follow through to achieve. In male chats can lean towards extrovert, and in female charts passive, introvert qualities there is a need to be careful not to scatter energies without achieving much.

“The Cradle configuration has two Wedge figures in it, providing two different ways to potentially escape from the stress - or transform it into creativity”. http://en.mimi.hu/astrology/cradle_configuration.html
http://www.astrotheme.com/files/figu...ed-aspects.php http://cafeastrology.com/articles/aspectpatterns.html
Cafeastrology calls this aspect Trapeze, which with my own research is not, but something different. The glossary below explains the differences. http://www.dxpnet.com/opinion/astrology/I-so-TOTALLY-have-a-Cradle-2271823.asp http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1554 http://www.lunarliving.org/astrology...e_cradle.shtml

“The apex planet can be a source of great creativity that channels the stress into positive, constructive activity, although the stress of the opposition may or may not finally be resolved. The Cradle has two Wedge figures in it, providing two different ways to potentially escape from the stress — or transform it into creativity. However, with so much opportunity to avoid problems, the temptation to take the easy way out is very strong. As a result, with a Cradle configuration in their chart may find it very difficult to resolve/heal the conflicts in their life represented by the opposition” http://www.evolvingdoor.ca/glossary/glossary_bc.htm
This last link is the best information available on this aspect

“The more the person can learn to face and resolve the conflict of the opposition, the more they will be able to use the talents and natural abilities in the Cradle in ways that are healthy, constructive and healing. On the other hand, the avoidance of problems can generate some pretty impressive creative ability, in the broadest sense of the word - not just artistic but any innovative, original or imaginative approach to the obstacles and challenges of life.” http://www.evolvingdoor.ca/glossary/glossary_bc.htm

Kite http://www.cafeastrology.com/articles/aspectpatterns.html
“Whenever a person has a kite in his chart, he is considered to be more likely to be successful in his endeavours because the opposition will give him the push to go out and conquer the obstacles that are presented to him, and the sextiles will give him a little bit more harmony once he has achieved his goals.” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kite_aspect http://www.aquamoonlight.co.uk/aspect-patterns2.html http://www.evolvingdoor.ca/glossary/glossary_k.htm

Mystic Rectangle also know as Grand Rectangle http://www.astro.com/mtp/mtpt82_e.htm http://www.lunarliving.org/astrology/mysticrectangle_wedge.shtml http://www.skyscript.co.uk/aspects2.html http://www.therealastrology.com/HTML/FAQS/AspectPatterns.html#Mystic Rectangle http://www.aquamoonlight.co.uk/aspect-patterns2.html

you also have a common T Square with sun as apex..

T Square http://www.drstandley.com/astrologycharts_tsquare.shtml
“Two planets in opposition squared to a third. The tension typical of the opposition aspect is aggravated by additional problems introduced by the third planet. Often an obstructive feature blocking the normal flow of behaviour of the person. Person needs to develop activities represented by the "missing" arm of the T-square to achieve wholeness” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natal_astrology#Aspect_patterns http://www.skyscript.co.uk/aspects2.html

“The t-square is exactly like the above configuration except that one of the signs is missing. Time and again this is described as trying to sit in a chair with three legs. Ironically, the individual becomes the fourth leg by acting out the traits which are missing in the chart.” http://www.skyviewzone.com/astrology/moreaspects2.htm

what tends to happen with T Squares is that a transit, progression or solar arc comes along and temporary converts it to a Grand Square, which does cause enormous tensions/problems internally, but the good thing is the get you up off your backside to resolve issues.

sun square moon shows divorced parents. http://www.skyscript.co.uk/sunaspects.html#susmo

sun square pluto will seriously modify how your sun expresses to more of scorpio/pluto, rather than cancer. Cancer is also a 'worrier' sensitive moody and nostalgic.

T Neptune has/is squaring your natal venus in gemini. This is THE most flirtatious sign. have you had a new or idealising romance recently?? any confusions over finances? have you lent any money to co-workers?

have you been making more sacrifices for work, co-workers? are you finding it hard to stay focused on details? do you find your mind wandering?

No I wish. I've been on my own for years. Although I am a flirt. I'm also really independent (aries moon) and with virgo rising/pisces desc, I'm probably going to be on my own a lot. I have been for most of my 34 yrs.

Generally, yes, my mind does wander. But especially at the moment. I cannot focus or concentrate on anything

I basically have to wait for ANY planet to come into Capricorn in transit, that will mess me up, but move me forward?

Yes, over the past 3 years. I am spending more time on my own. I have been more reflective. I have been trying to get a lot of online ventures off the ground, and I am trying to put in the hard work now.

I'm looking at solar arc MC conj Jupiter..

WOW. Yeah, I moved back to the UK with my parents when I was 7 and a bit. WOW.

Thank you for all of this information. I think I have stumbled on some of this information before, especially about the Kite, T-square and the mystic rectangle (I'm just full of shapes me)

I couldn't find anything though about having 2 kites (if I have 2 kites - looks like it) I am not sure if they are in orb to be a kite, but it looks like I have two.

I guess that was my point about focusing. And maybe I am not helped by my own mars/saturn clash.

So with my main kite aiming at jupiter, coming from neptune with moon and saturn stablising me, am I aiming for opportunity and growth to make something of myself, using my dreams as the inspiration as long as my emotions are in check and I work hard at it?

I am not sure how it would work for the kite aiming at libra

apologies for delay in responding, unfortunately this forum doesn't send email alerts when you make posts, only to you IF you start one. This means that I have to go back manually to find threads where I made a post/comment....

thanks for the feedback, always important.
yes you have two kits with moon as apex planet and pluto at base. As well as neptune apex and jupiter base.

have you researched your POF conj MC, this is 'supposed' to be very fortunate? I have a thread in Basic forum on this.

Neptune ruling Desc is similar to having neptune there which is confusing. It's all about making sacrifices and where we have regrets.

For the most part, no. So thank you for addressing that. I appreciate the effort.

I think my main one was by having 2 kites, are my energies spreading myself thin? Because I have the mars square saturn which is my biggest thorn, my query was that this was not helping the fact I had 2 kites, rather than only one.

So if I have 2, are they equally as important? Would the jupiter rule more because of the close proximity to POF and MC or the Pluto because its square sun/opp moon placement? If both are equal, how does that work. This is the only thing that I cannot find a lot about on the 'net, hence me asking on here.

Also just noticed, I'm an aquarius aspect short of a Star of David, and I hear that they are a blessing and a curse as well. So if there is something transiting Aquarius, does that mess me up?

Again, thank you for your help.

Terry

Hey Saggi? Did you have any thoughts on this? I have just come back to this and realised that I forgotten all about it?

Thank you for all your previous input.
