Honestly I just don't feel it much at all... besides a bit of possessiveness (mars in scorp?), interest in the occult etc, I feel more like a capricorn/aquarius, a blend of the two with a hint of pisces but not much. see chart below, Odd? perhaps, especially if the sun represents your soul or inner-most being, I do not feel it. Any thoughts?/ has anyone else experienced not feeling like their sun sign?.- Also, yes I know that if using Placidus, it would be a stellium in the 10th but I really don't relate to it either. so I'm using Equal house system, which personally resonates with me.

hmmm that is interesting you don't feel like a scorpio...Hopefully someone who has astrological knowledge can figure out why you feel more like a capricorn  IP: Logged |

Looking at your chart, I can understand when you say you feel more like a cappy; you have major positions in capricorn, your ascendant and the moon, and a couple more in that sign. I am an aries, and I don't always feel like it either most of the time. I know many scorpios and they are all very different, but they are all very sweet and mild tempered and driven in their own way. I believe we mimic those close to us, who raised us; this can affect our outward personality too. I also believe that having those strong signs in our charts helps us to get through all those tough situations we might get ourselves into. Consider if you were all scorpio. Scorpios can get themselves into alot of trouble, because they're so curious about everything. Capricorn grounds you and takes away some of that, because cappy isn't that curious about all that; they learn from others mistakes. Hi Nothingbutaname!I understand you completely, I am a Scorpio Sun, Mercury, Mars and Pluto myself and I don't feel like a Scorpio most of the time. I relate to Virgo much more, and that is my Moon sign. Most of my personal planets are in the 6th house, which is the house of Virgo.
So I think it's not at all that surprising that you don't really relate to being a Scorpio sometimes, because we often relate to our Moon more. And it's also your ASC!
AND your Scorpio stellium falls in the 10th house in Placidus, which is the house of Capricorn.. It makes sense! So don't worry, you're not alone in this!
I know it can be quite frustrating though, because not fitting the stereotypical traits of your Sun sign is like being defective in some way.. But it's quite common I think!

Hey! Thanks for the reply Firstly, I'm glad i'm not alone in this, interesting that you relate much more to virgo, the two signs are supposedly similar so I would think there would be a bit of a cross-over for you. Yeah I know using Placidius i have a 10th house stellium and that would explain it but honestly I reeeeeeeealllly don't feel it that much, typical descriptions of 10th house, especially scorpio on the cusp of the 10th house, just don't relate to it not really seeking a position of power or status. I relate much more to the 11th house, and it seems personally that it describes me/experiences in my life best. Yeah I think the asc + moon plus a few other things in capricorn would explain it but I didn't quite think it would be THAT strong, especially since the sun is suppose to be your core self or your soul... and I just really don't relate. If anyone wants to take a crack at helping me figure this out besides the obvious, I'd appreciate it

The sun IS aspected by Mars AND Pluto. I wanted to say that I completely understand what you mean!! I have a Taurus stellium, sun, mercury and Jupiter and reading my sun sign descriptions when I first started getting into astrology, I was like no way, that's not me.. Then as I got further into astrology, I realized that I was relating a lot to my ASC that's in Leo. I have a complete fire void, and no placements in fire houses, so my fire angles are over the top noticeable. You are a double Capricorn, your ASC is hit hard, I am not surprised your sun takes a back seat to it. The natal chart Is "filtered" through the ASC anyway, yours just happens to be very strongly emphasized But I did want to add that I am sure you will start to feel your Scorpio traits as you go. Your sun Is very strong in your chart. Pluto tends to bury anything it touches, only to have it be transformed and emerge stronger than before. IP: Logged |

my best friend is a scorpio sun, mercury, mars, and pluto!! and if you meet her you would be blown away with how polite, and composed this girl is!her chart is my anigma! i can never understand how a scorpio dominant person can be so transparent. seriously, she's the type of girl who would think twice before saying no so as not to upset you.. her apologies (she apologizes for the silliest of matters) come in a serious of 4 to 5 sorrys.. example:

Lava  completely agree with you, I think his Sun will eventually emerge and it's gonna be a very strong Scorpio Sun!

hey DR, no but she does have a gem. moon, also i dont know her acs (her mom had 4 kids and cant pin point what time of the day she had her ) but my guess would be an air acs, probably libra
the rest of her planets are mostly capricorn, which i can relate, especialy her cap venus that one seemed logical when it comes to her relationships..

Thanks for the reply Lava, Yeah I that comment was interesting, the disregard of the sun/mars/pluto conjunction; I think what you say does make alot of sense. I'm a bit shocked even the capricorn asc gets through to the extent that it does with all the ASC conjunctions to it. I was thinking that perhaps I feel somewhat like an Aquarius due to the stellium in the 11th house, would the house position modify the sun to such a degree?. Lets indeed hope the sun shines through as I age, although I am fine feeling like a capricorn, it's my NN anyhow, just interesting that the sun has disappeared, but pluto conjunction does make sense, haha here's hoping indeed
