Just wondering if any parts of my natal chart point to possible emotional instability?

Jupiter sq Saturn - optimism/pessimism swings, bad judgement
Pisces Sun conj Saturn - depressive
moon in the 8th can be a bit dark, maybe mother kept secrets and you carry them for her
water sun sq fire pluto - could swing back and forth because of dominating parent, usually the father
But one of the best aspects is there, that's mars trine jupiter
And there is Mercury in Air for rational thought
So it doesn't look over the top to me, but then again the house rulers are lost on me here since I use Placidus.

hi there, you have a cap moon and it aspects saturn too.. that's not easy to deal with.. I found this article on elsaelsa very helpful. http://www.elsaelsa.com/astrology/2011/08/02/the-care-and-feeding-of-your-moon/

and then this: "The challenge [with a saturn moon] is to create safe, solid structures with windows and doors, rather than a cage or a safe that inhibits your emotional range."

The Moon doesn't aspect Saturn.
But the dispositor of the Moon is Saturn conj the Sun.

@lonake, you disregard the quintile? ok, it is a "minor" aspect, but any contact between moon and saturn seems harsh to me

from cafeastrology: "Moon Quintile or Bi-Quintile Saturn"

"For your full creative powers to develop, you need periods of solitude and reflection. You are not a recluse and you can fare well without solitude but your own unique and individual creative powers are developed through your own individual reflections. Studying the works of masters rather than reading another person's interpretation of the work of a master can also often benefit you. You have the ability to develop new methods and concepts that are useful and practical."

Something like emotional instability as a possibility would easily be seen w.the major aspects, incorporating house rulers. And at a serious episode would also be seen w.progressions/transits. Not all Moon/Saturn contacts are harsh. And obviously we have no way to determine how someone will use their natal & what experiences they've been exposed to in their environment.

An open question as was posed by a stranger, with no feedback regarding our responses, is not helping the matter either

Is the instability recent?

You have mercury sextile jupiter which can make you have poor impulse control and be rash.

Mars is basically unaspected and rx, so you can feel stymied and pent up and then burst forth with volcanic actions. Mars rx has probably really affected you. (Jan. 24- now). The only aspect is trine to jupiter which expands, so again, rashness and poor impulse control. When you express anger you probably go overboard. Volcanic eruption.

Your chart ruler is only conjunct neptune so you cane be unrealistic and deluded a lot, let down.

Most of your planets have very few aspects which can make their energy harder to control. With maturity you can overcome this problem.

"Is the instability recent?"

Yes and no. I've always been very emotional and sensitive, but lately it definitely does seem even more difficult to handle.

I think your transits are kicking it up a notch. You have neptune applying to sun, which can cause feelings of fogginess. This one has just begun.

You have uranus square your moon. This can make someone feel less stable if it's felt negatively.

And you had pluto on your moon. This can make your emotions very intense and push forth forcefully. This started some time ago but it's just moved on. BUT -- it's going to come back because of the upcoming rx. After that, you'll be done with it for good.

Neptune/sun is a long one, so you're going to have to work to keep yourself grounded.

Uranus will move on in a bit and then move back again. Again, you need to work at grounding your emotions in some way.

And remember, all transits have an expiration
date, that is, they come to an end. So if you're having a hard time, this soon shall pass.
