Just to explain... I met this man a little while ago and it's been the most extraordinary 'connection.' Love at first sight, feelings of wanting to spend the rest of our lives together and generally very much in 'soulmate' territory. We have a Venus/Pluto conjunction (exact) a Sun/Moon trine and an Eros/Psyche conjunction too... in fact that's almost a DW Eros/Psyche but for the fact the other way it's a 7 degree orb which is apparently too wide. But anyway... we live 118 miles apart and both of us (but particularly him) are struggling financially at the moment so it's very difficult to get to see each other but we've travelled as much as we can. He's not in business with me at the moment but we've talked about the possibility. He's driving me mad at the moment with one particular facet of the relationship (

Ok so I really like your use of 2 cards for each 'era' of the reading so I decided to do the same for you. They seem to act as a balance for each other

Past: 9 Swords and 9 Cups I found this very interesting. You have had the fear and the 'nightmares,' perhaps worrying you'd always be alone and that no relationship would ever really work... and all the while you held the 'wish card' in your hands to make all your dreams come true! I have a feeling there is someone in your past who is going to emerge again actually - it seems like this 'wish' (which as yet has gone unfulfilled) will touch the present just like the card is doing in your reading.

Present: 3 of Pentacles and 4 of Cups So there's a feeling of 'boredom' or 'glass half full' with the situation it would seem. But with the 3 of Pents I feel the message here is to see your own worth perhaps more than you currently do and to feel at peace with being single at this moment. It's one of those odd balancing acts - when you're really not looking, they appear! I apologize for the delayed reply, but I've been sick since yesterday and I didn't even have the energy to response. Still not feeling well...

I am really glad that the reading resonated with you and I really wish that everything goes well between you two Let your fears, doubts or insecurities aside and enjoy it as much as possible!

Ok! The cards you pulled for me... amazingly accurate. The past was indeed as you described it and, actually, the nine of cups do represent the fulfilment of a wish... last year I did meet a gentleman that was a dream come true! He had everything I've ever wished ... And a special soul connection. In one word when we were together it felt like 'home'. We had both realised that and he even told me that we definitely know each other from a previous life.
Unfortunately, it ended without any of us wanting it to... But I never stopped thinking about him and believing that it didn't end.
Until I started telling myself that I am being paranoid. I have no clue to believe such a thing anymore, especially after me contacting him a few months back to wish him for his name day (my message was short and formal)... He replied with an amazingly long and beautiful email... about how he still felt about me, how important I was to him and thanking me for taking the initiative to contact him first. I did reply to this but never got a response...

So, I don't know...

The last couple of weeks he was so intensively in my mind that I couldn't help it. Actually, a coincidence occurred... My best friend asked me about him exactly then - and of course I hadn't said anything about me thinking about him lately. So, when I asked my best friend how come he remembered him and that he has been in my mind lately... He told me that 'Of course, you were thinking about him... You were feeling him because he was near you!' ... It seems that X was attending a seminar near me and he lives normally 2500 km away!
