I wanted to ask something about someone close to me... It seems that she deceived me in a nasty way and she is not telling me the truth. I feel that there is something wrong but I cannot prove it. Is it what I think it is?

So... two thoughts (one for each question) popped into my head as I was tuning in so see if they have any resonance for you.

The first question to do with the deception brought forth the feeling that it is a deceit however it's more that you weren't told the whole truth rather than being told an outright lie. Don't know if that makes sense?

The second question brought in the phrase 'D doesn't think you're still interested.' Lord knows why that popped in but there you are, do with those what you will x

Now then... first spread.

What does Venia need to know about the person who she feels has deceived her and the nature of that deceit?

Past - The Empress Something has grown and I just have the feeling it's some sort of relationship. There's a sense of abundance and promise in the background of this situation - like something was beginning to be brought to life and yet now I have the feeling its development has been thwarted somehow because of the actions of one involved. I feel you were possibly very kind and caring to this person and you poured a great deal of time and nurturing into your relationship with them.

Present - 5 Pents So this is where we see the breakdown of that relationship and due to the material nature of this card it could be career/financial losses that you're looking at as a result of this deceit - yes I do feel there has been a deceit of sorts here Victoria because the base card bears that out. Something just keeps bringing back to the emotion of it all however... being let down is never easy. But this is saying that yes, there are losses that have been incurred but you can take something positive away with you - just need to look at what you've learned from the situation and chalk it up to experience.

Future - 6 swords So you'll move on from this to something brighter. Are you thinking of moving somewhere new by the way? Strongly indicated with the Present/Future cards all being about change and moving on. You'll heal stronger from this let down and not look back anyway so it'll all be absolutely fine in the end.

Base card - 3 swords So yes, heartache and loss. I'm so sorry because it looks like the answer is yes, you have been deceived by her and it is what you think it is. But all in all a positive outcome with the moving on vibe.

So to why D never wrote back...

Past - 6 wands So it was all going so well! Such positivity here to begin with and a feeling of triumph.

Present - Base Chakra Now this deck (instead of pip cards) has these chakra cards. So it would seem there's some concern in D about their 'material' issues... money, their health, safety, and possibly even something to do with the roof over their head? It seems that's taking their focus completely at the moment however I do feel that it's not the whole reason they haven't written back.

Future - 7 Swords Ok so again with the deception vibe but this time tinged with envy too... are the two situations related by any chance? Also be prepared for things to suddenly changing/shifting around this situation.

Base card - 3 swords Do you know I have a funny feeling that D hasn't written back because they think it wouldn't be appropriate - to explain, I get the feeling that they are under the impression you're not available or interested because you're 'off limits' in some way? I know that may sound silly because you're wondering why they didn't reply to you in which case if you contact them you must want to connect... but the envy aspect of the 7 swords and the heartache/loss vibe of the 3 swords is making me feel like D feels it might be a lost cause?? Wow!!! Yes spot on again from you too! My name as it was gave me a 'loner' vibration which I really felt strongly that it was time to change and so I've changed my surname to give me a compound vibration that's much more positive. Things are already starting to 'shift' slightly I feel and yes it was a decision made from intuition and spiritual belief rather than any obligation so you were absolutely correct!! Wow can't wait to see what happens and with this Emperor figure!!

As for Mark yes an offer of sorts... he keeps swinging between telling me he misses me and still loves me and meant everything he said to me. Also says that he thinks I've got things wrong and overanalysed them... and then he asks to be friends. Now I just feel if he really thought I'd got things wrong he'd be very keen to tell me what they were and try to reconcile us instead of remaining tight lipped about them and asking for friendship - surely if he really loved me, he'd fight for that first if he felt I'd made a mistake and take friendship as a last resort? Yes I do think he's upset but I also get a sense of someone else being involved possibly... not sure about that but the 3 of swords would seem to suggest that also. Either way I'm stepping right back now and leaving it completely alone. Someone else interested in me?? I think I know who that might be but unfortunately I don't feel the same

But yes, I'm going with my gut feelings

Exactly that!!! I wasn't told the whole truth. And my gut feeling is pretty sure about it (plus some facts). You confirmed it!
And yes, I did my best to try and nurture this relationship but I guess people never change... The 3 of Swords represent my feelings of being insulted and feeling worthless. No matter what I did - was not appreciated. Anyway, I should learn (one more time) from this! Unfortunately, I cannot get into more detail since this is a private forum - but you are dead on it!

Wow! D was (hopefully will be again) a love interest and bf - I am sure you know who I'm talking about - and was always wondering WHY he never got back to me. I knew and felt that I know the answer but I needed help finding it and your reading suddenly made me realise what had really happened.
Looking back at my last email to him, indeed I didn't give a hint that I would like to see him again or be with him... I simply wrote what was going on in my life back then and that's it... Apparently, he took it as being not interested and that I've moved on(especially that) and just stepped back.
Now, it makes sense.
And yes, he is currently into building his career and focused intensely on that - back then as well.
The three of swords again, makes sense... It did hurt a lot - generally.

I am just confused about the 7 of Swords, since it's in the future position.
Could you please tell me what that card makes you 'feel'?

Regarding Mark, yes I do feel that he is genuine... Had that feeling as soon as I pulled the cards. And it seemed funny actually when he said 'to stay friends'. He doesn't mean it. But I guess he is being selfish and protecting his feelings
