I would love to hear chart interpretations on synastry and davison chart with me and 'guy'...I look at it and see one thing, I'm just trying to see what others interpret the chart as...

Current Status: Not Together. We've known each other for 12 years. He's divorced with child and I'm going through a divorce with 2 children. I recently moved back to our hometown and now he travels the U.S. via job.

His moon is in Taurus, My moon in Scorpio: His emotional security comes after sex, mine before...lol...We've never had sex! lmfao! We want the same thing, just in two different forms! lol

In synastry: my Sun sextile his Pluto, his Sun semi-sextile my Pluto

In davison: Sun semi-square Pluto

does that help?

yes of course pluto helps, i have only experienced mars trine pluto with someone, was cool. guess the stereotype about depth works.

wait, i've just noticed something interesting. your NN is Taurus. your SN being inevitably Scorpio. So yeah you can relate to his moon. And it might drag you out of Scorpio. Maybe thats another reason

take a look at this for example http://www.the-soulmate-site.com/astrological-soulmate.html

also, just out of interest, have you taken a look at psyche? it's either 16 or 433 on aastro.com

hey sorry i'm useless at davison

Are you aware of venus square pluto, btw? have you been analysing, do you reckon it might affect the way you act and how you come across to each other? i have only seen this natal in my brother, but it might manifest itself as power games at synastry....

And were you born in August '85 or thereabouts? I know what 85 looks like, thats why. Tables say your Psyche is Gemini (correct?). Too bad the exact aspect is not in your wheel. But I'm going to give you another link, scroll down, anything familiar at all?

{his eros, my psyche}
THE WEIRDING!
Ready or not, these two mess with one another’s minds from the second they meet. They quite often start out with an official hate each other’s guts dynamic going on. They challenge each other to a strange ‘who are you really?’ duel of wits. Cosmically, they are destined to alter the others reality to such an extent that, no matter what happens, life will never be quite the same again. Oddly enough, they tend to meet via normal circumstances. Perhaps they have even heard mention of the other for some time and vowed something like ‘that person is so not me’! Yet, when they do meet up, they’re irritated yet intrigued. Someone says one little thing and the other is like ‘WHAT, did you say THAT? This liaison often lends itself to on-off-on--again shenanigans as each person must make huge adjustments to fit into the life path of the other - madly in love as they may be.

{my eros, his psyche}
DÉJÀ VU!
Love comes quickly as neither party in this magical pair-bonding can believe their luck. They are often introduced by mutual friends who seem to sense their extreme compatibility well before this couple gets it. Somehow, a bizarre factor seems to come between these two at first - there is always a challenge to overcome. Perhaps the strong presence of an ex-lover? Domineering or disapproving family? Total fear of succumbing to the passion?-THIS Whatever it may be. The couple either race off in different directions (yet never quite forgetting the feelings evoked by the other) or become much closer by joining to dissolve the love obstacle. Get between these two at your own peril. More than any other type of couple, they deeply admire one another and will do whatever it takes to protect their romance from toxic emotions or outside interference.

HA! WOW!!! This is crazy! That's us 100%!!! Thanks for the link!!!

lol...yeah our natal charts mirror each other when put in synastry...lol...my weaknesses are his strengths and vis-versa...

Oh and a davison reads just like a composite...composite, from my understanding, is how the relationship looks to the world and a davison is more of a behind closed doors deal...

I have to add, because I find it interesting that his mother is a Leo. His Venus is in Leo & of course he's a Cancer ASC with his Libra Sun in 4H; my Venus is in Cancer (7H) and I'm a Sun in Leo....lol

anyway, it's his moon you're nostalgic after. his neptune giving you dreams. his pluto that has a power over you - from what i read in your story - you were the venus holding out your hand, he was the pluto keeping you at bay for reasons best known to himself, but not letting you go altogether either. and it's seriously sad that it left you in pieces. the first time as much as afterwards. it might be slippery. for your nodes esp.

i sort of know how difficult it is to go all-in. esp if its not gonna pay off. but you might end up with a royal flush. if these power issues are dealt with.

what sort of upbringing did he receive? what idea of femininity was instilled into him as he was growing up?

PS THE WEIRDING! is for one sign away, yours are 2 signs away, no?

TH WIERDING question: It says this is the description for HIS Eros in Leo:: HER Psyche in Gemini or Aries

He has very strong ties with his mother, but I think maybe in the past she didn't make great decisions and he probably felt abandoned at times by her or understand some of the choices she made pertaining to men. He absolutely adores his mom though. They do have a healthy relationship eventhough he's a "momma's boy" & her only child. He definitely has a tendency to want to "save" his woman. He at one point asked me to marry him, as he didn't like how my (then)boyfriend/father of my son was treating me. He was kinda hurt that I allowed my ex to get away with so much...At the time, I didn't want to abandon my material security for an uncertain emotional security...Had I married him, I have no doubt that we'd probably still be married today. My fear got the best of me during that time.

::SideNote::

His Eros/Psyche -- Leo/Scorpio; My Eros/Psyche -- Leo/Gemini

wow! My N.Node is in, as previously stated, the 5H(Taurus) & His N.Node is in Gemini (12H)--my psyche is in his 12H, his eros in my 5H!!!

actually there was this thread on astrology weekly about overcoming natal hard aspects, perhaps it could work for synastry as well who knows
http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=50077

trying to express a planet in an adjacent sign so that square becomes trine or sextile.

i can only share my own experience: i have aqua venus square scorpio saturn and through one lover i had (eros conj psyche exactly!) i think my venus totally went pisces through him (because he had moon in pisces and my V was conjunct my mars in pisces). perhaps it kind of helped me overcome my square. i don't know - should you try with leo? *hope it makes sense*

i'm really not sure, it might strike a chord, or it might not.

anyway, i always like reading stories like yours. there was someone on this forum yesterday going out of their way to prove me how futile attempts to nurture this sort of love are, obvs i keep refusing to believe <3

some more horror stories about Taurus NN: need to provide for themselves to ensure their own material security. not lecturing you, because i am the worst at this (with Taurus NN in the 12th). some sources have it that in previous lifetimes others took care of us, so we're helpless and insecure as far as this side of things goes.

I understand what you are saying. Yeah, from what I understand, sometimes the hardest synastry/composite aspects can be softened by either person natally if they have a more harmonious aspect. Or in your case cause either person to "bleed"/"blend" with the other. You can feel "at home" if right.

I find my situation very interesting because I didn't really have faith in love, but HE changed that for me. I've only been intimate with one man (my ex husband) and I loved him conditionally...This guy was my first love and my only true love. I love him unconditionally.

Even with such an amazing example, I am still a bit skeptical about love. I'm learning to have more faith in love and in its process...that's the only way through this. I'm not guaranteed to get my guy and I do understand that, but I will atleast get what I'm worth--if I let go of my fears. We have a deep unconditional love for one another. Unfortunately, at this moment, he is seeking only romantic love. I want love on not only a romantic level, but a soul level as well. What he seeks is alot easier to come by...

"a soul level as well" - one more manifestation of NN I can relate to [and perhaps his emotional needs are generally different] my mother always says "you got this gift, who cares?" so few ppl have any idea of what it is. have you met that many? i haven't

i guess just let it go. he exists. which is awesome. would be much worse if he didn't. and at the end of the day your love [this kinda love] is spiritual experience enough. insecurity about the future is horrible, but well so what.

i'm going to bed now, really hope you come by what you're looking for

and if you're curious about NN there's this book by jan spiller "astrology of the soul", was hard reading it, but well better acknowledge the facts and do the cleaning work.

cherish intensity <3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_imyXLkoIA xx

Yeah, I get that...

South Node Eleventh House, North Node Fifth House
Are your “friends” the kind of people who support your goals, your values, and see you for who you really are? Or are they people who have “just happened to you” along the way? With the South Node in the 11th house, there’s a chance that you need to move up an octave in choosing friends who support you and your dreams, and also a need to leave behind peer pressure in any of its forms. It’s important for you to become clear on who you are and who you want to spend your time with—move away from the crowds or groups that simply fill your time, and find a few “heart-mates” instead of acquaintances, and look for the community or place where you really belong. Look around a bit, so that you can sit at the right “camp-fire.”
---Funny it should say this, because I'm going through quite a serious purging of friends. I do yearn for a true sisterhood. My "friends" seem to use me when they need to, but are ghost when I need them...I don't usually feel valued in my friendships. More more giving than receiving.

With this South Node you’ll want to move away from the lower expression of Aquarian qualities: being emotionally aloof and detached, avoiding confrontation and intimacy, and having a tendency to think you always need more knowledge before taking action. Instead, it’s time to take more risks, to reach for center stage, and to develop one’s confidence---even if it means allowing your childlike qualities to come out more, and for you to be more of a “character.”

Your fifth house North Node here wants to have more fun, and to see life as a game worth playing. It can bring out your entrepreneurial and artistic side as well. This Nodal axis wants to get personal—to risk the love affair, to have a child, to express itself creatively. It doesn’t need to get philosophical and talk about saving humanity---how about just one child at a time? And maybe that child could just be your inner child that’s been neglected for awhile.

In past lives you might have been living on the sidelines watching others interact. You could have done great things as a scientist, an eccentric genius, a humanitarian….one who gave selflessly. Now it’s time to “give to the giver” and to feel the flow of love in and out of your heart. You’ve earned it.
AMEN! lol

Scorpio South Node, Scorpio Moon
The Moon in Scorpio and the South Node in Scorpio are both ruled by Pluto, “Lord of the Underworld” and is the archetypal symbol of death and rebirth. Scorpio in this context has struggled to transform and be re-born like the phoenix, and somewhere in all that struggling has come an exhaustion and weariness of the spirit. Pluto is a planet ruling an intense passionate sign, and the Scorpio storyline is often about the price it costs to come into one’s own power. Having your Moon or South Node here suggests that you can heal and regenerate yourself—and others—more skillfully than any other sign, but you can also be secretive, reflective, mysterious and sometimes revengeful or jealous. So this “Hades Moon” and South Node Scorpio often reflect the journey of coming into one’s own power the hard way.

Scorpio Moon and South Node in Scorpio know the dark side of life; the areas that are taboo, and the horrific tragedies that befall humans. Tragedies leave scars in their wake, and though you’ve had great courage to look and survive these times, there’s a heaviness of spirit that often remains, as well as a suspiciousness and fear. This life is now one where you are being called to rethink your values, your priorities, and to allow the old ways of loving and being loved to “die and be reborn.”

There’s great gold in Scorpio’s shadowy inheritance---it has a hard won wisdom and occult knowledge that can serve you well when used right. But as always with Scorpio, there can be a tendency to see the “glass as half empty rather than half full” because of an intuitive awareness of what wasn’t “right” earlier in this life or in a former life. You may have paid too much attention to other people’s business rather than our own.(unfortunately) You were—or are--the power behind the throne (I was definitely more of the man in my marriage, but he worked...other peoples money huh? lol), or the one who “borrowed” another’s values, glory, money or husband. Your own yearning may have brought on drama and melodrama.

Now there’s a call to love and be loved from a different perspective. No more tragic love stories, no more battles for power, struggles for revenge, hidden agendas and all the stuff of great novels. Just peace. Negotiation. Serenity. That’s the movement that is called for with a Scorpio Moon or South Node. Your Soul needs a rest from trauma and melodrama—and you deserve it. There’s no need to sabotage or save in the realm of love, but instead to find ways that life can be sweeter and easier with those you love, and that comfort itself and the simple joys in life are often what makes life worth living.

The Moon in Scorpio and the South Node in Scorpio hold the emotional memories from your childhood and from the forgotten “emotional memories” of past lives. From the reincarnational perspective, both these points show the particular emotional “hangover” that is most impacting you in this life now. We don’t usually remember “facts” from very early in life, nor do we usually remember our past lives. What we feel instead is an emotional undertone—a lunar feeling—that something in our Soul hurts—and that something in our past is unresolved. It’s like waking from an uncomfortable dream but not remembering the storyline—and this is the unresolved issue that the South Node and the Moon in our birth chart describes. By describing some of this lunar story, we bring it into consciousness, and then we can move into changing our present life story, by recognizing the old patterns and emotions that no longer serve us now. We can learn to love and be loved differently.
that is what I'm working on now...

Since we share Taurus NN:
With your North Node in Taurus, your Soul craves peace and serenity in this life--as well as good music, a loyal lover, and picnics on the beach with good food and wine! Doesn't everybody? Yes, but not like you---you need these things to remind your Soul that life can be good and safe and beautiful.

Having suffered too much drama and trauma either earlier in this life, or in a previous one, you're suffering now from a slight despair of spirit—one could even say that this Nodal combination has a “forgotten emotional memory” of life at its most tragic. The cure for this soul sickness is to nurture your self with the things that make life worth living. Cultivating loyal friends, enjoying nature and the physical world, and creating a beautiful home that feels like a safe harbor are all good things for you to do.

By choosing to find the "sacred in the commonplace" you re-awaken your Soul to the Divine in all things. You're not being a materialist when you truly enjoy the beauty of a hand-made wooden spoon or pottery bowl, or take time away from your work and ambitions to watch the sun set with an old friend. By seeing into the true nature of things, you get a sense of what many of the mystics have seen--that God is here and now, and found in the ordinary/extraordinary things of this life.

What do you truly value? What do you stand for in life? Something in you needs to know yourself deeper and to prove yourself worthy. The old path or habits that need to be left behind involve too much immersion in other people's dramas...a helping hand is fine, but don't get embroiled in dramas that aren't yours. Power and control issues as well as your ability to manipulate situations need to be let go of. You've done too much of that in the past. The focus now needs to be on you, and finding what you value and what nurtures you.

This life is about finding that mystical sense of belonging to a Universe that is benevolent. No easy task! It's a profound spiritual calling to find spirit in matter, and to find yourself in "right relationship" with others.

On the Taurus-Scorpio path it’s important to ground yourself with a workable level of financial and emotional stability. If you can do that you're ready to retrieve the gold in the shadow--your Scorpio South Node. There's hidden wisdom and power there, for in your Scorpio past you deeply understood other people and had a keen intuitive-psychic nature. You might have been the detective, the shaman, the priest, or the power behind the throne---the one who could hone in on the emotional bottom line. Now if you can bring your new level of security and grounded faith in the goodness of life into your relationships with others and into your work, you can nourish others with your profound wisdom.

Soul Purpose: serenity and stability, regaining a sense of the sacred in the ordinary, a sense of having earned and gained by one’s own efforts, honoring good traditions and preserving what is valuable for future generations.

Shadow: Looking to another for definition, self-confidence, or too much support. Taking things that aren’t yours. Collapsing into a felt sense of emotional pain from previous lives, and adapting an overly serious, gloomy attitude. Going to quickly into studying the occult and transpersonal realities, and thereby taking a spiritual bypass on your emotional life.

And you share with my "guy" 12H NN:
Is your North Node in the 12th house? Then it has an undertone of Pisces, and your South Node automatically falls into the 6th house, which has a Virgo undertone. Add the description of the sign of your North Node to this house position to deepen your understanding of your Nodal axis...and, you can deepen your understanding of North Node in Pisces, no matter what house it falls in your chart.

With a North Node in the 12th house we are deep in the “house that Carl Jung built.” This is the area of the deep psyche, the unconscious, and with a North Node here we are wise to explore beneath the surface of life to the unconscious subtle realms of the heart as expressed in music, art, poetry and painting. We are called to “the monastery” here in the sense that it is a non-verbal, solitary, spiritual call towards Self awareness. The 12th house has sometimes been called the house of troubles, because it can’t be dealt with logically and pragmatically, and to do so doesn’t benefit the person with a North Node in this house. However, the key to this house placement is that there is no longer any need for troubles, duties, obligations, humility and service! All those are embodied in the opposite 6th house. As a 12th house North Node person you have earned the right to take the deep pleasures of the unconscious: gifts of magic, insight and deep peace.

The karmic pull of your past with the South Node in the 6th house will be one that tries to pull you back to be of help to others, with an emphasis on the skillful use of the mind and duty, rather than the promptings of the heart. The default tendency here will be about thinking rather than feeling, working rather than playing, honoring logic more than intuition. The North Node goal is a move away from the particular and detailed attention that the 6th house requires, to the spiritual meaning-making, and only partially “conscious” quality of the 12th house. This evolutionary pull towards the 12th house, which is ruled by Pisces, will be to balance and correct that tendency with a more imaginative and universal type of thinking in which the goal is to create more compassion in our lives by simply loving ourselves and others more. We’ve earned a degree of rest and release from duty.

This placement is sometimes, paradoxically, not an easy one because it’s not easily accessible by rational thought and direct approaches. It almost sneeks up on us, like pleasure does sometimes. So we approach 12th house activities with our hearts, with the arts, with feelings, and obliquely through dreams and divination. There are often issues around trust and faith, when Neptunian confusion fogs the clarity that can be attained with this placement. True enlightenment and clarity are real possibilities for people with the North Node in the 12th, however “getting it” for you may often be as simple as just softening and accepting into the process of living and loving.

The high road for North Node 12th house folks is a fascinating journey into the worlds where not everything is obvious or as it appears to be. It’s a world where even limitations can be a profound gift. Who has not enjoyed the occasional “mental health day” when we’ve stayed in bed or in our pajamas without leaving the house? In the 12th house, what is buried in the unconscious is begging for conscious understanding and acceptance. Jungian psychology and counseling, with its emphasis on creative expression of non-verbal dreams and images, and its encouragement towards unique individuality rather than collective moralities, can be very nurturing and deepening for 12th house people.

I know for my "guy" this a soft point. He definitely THINKS emotions instead of FEELS them. He is more comfortable rationalizing things, instead of feeling them on a gut level. I find it to be interesting that he infact does serve/heal others(6H) and not himself. My wound (Chiron) is in the 6th house--I HATE asking for help, but found myself in a very dependent relationship for 10 years...UGH! Funny thing is that I can heal myself psychologically. I don't need to be helped in a physical/financial sense. I need to be loved, unconditionally...I've always known that. My Psyche is in his 12H...I would stress to him about 'soul searching' and helping self, but he stubbornly told me he didn't want to. I could tell that it frustrated him because that isn't something he wanted to accept. I think he believes that's the only way he'll be appreciated and loved. If he doesn't come to grips (Chiron RX natally), it will continue to be a long hard road for him...

I don't think either one of us expected to get exactly what we wanted...but we did.

*Can you relate to the descriptions for SN Scorpio in 6H that I listed? I would love to hear your experiences...

I don't really know about the 6th to be honest, I have never felt it. The 12th yes.

I just thought I'd say I noticed another thing about this person. He's got venus square moon in fixed signs (like me). So this normally manifests itself a) as insecurity at relating to ppl/fear of being rejected; b) clash between organic and emotional needs

And I don't think you should force anything onto him. People are normally either thinking or feeling. The thinking ones are curiously enough emotionally vulnerable, because they have no idea how to deal with emotions. So they build defence barriers, have difficulty understanding others' emotions etc. despite having feelings like everyone else. I do understand that you crave total closeness and you crave it immediately (hello again NN), but the other person might not be ready, we all have different paces. After all he wanted to protect you at some point from being mistreated, thats a beautiful gesture and evidence enough.

Retrograde Ceres {him}
Usually, the message of Ceres Retrograde is to go inward and cultivate your ability to unconditionally love yourself, if you want to be able to love others better. Instead of being a fountain of sympathy and understanding for everyone else, focus on fulfilling your own needs. This is the best way to encourage others to do the same and you'll still be helping them by decreasing their dependent tendencies on you.

Ceres in Leo/5H
Here, Ceres will love to generously nurture their loved ones and children, by finding ways to be creative, have fun, and enjoy sports and hobbies. They can teach others how to find the inner muse and creative spark! This would be a great placement for a children's art teacher or writer…Harry Potter maybe? They will feel nurtured by receiving attention and extra special loving gestures from those who care about them. They will enjoy traveling in style and comfort. Their grief issues may come from failed investment strategies, too much gambling, money shared with their friends, partners, conflicting values, love affairs and rebellious teenagers. There could be a custody battle over children or child support. This may be where the story of Ceres, Persephone and Pluto began.

Ceres in 8H/Scorpio
Ceres here may be nurtured by the stability of the mother-child bonding relationship as well as other meaningful close encounters, especially powerful emotional or sexual encounters. The partner's money and investment income, responsible decision making regarding financial well being. Inheritance, contribution to environmental issues, recycling, investigating hidden information, and the mysteries of life and death. Nurturing received through a healthily sexual relationship. Working with the dying, hospice and chaplaincy work, doctors, childbirth and midwifery.

Grief work with money, inheritance, (especially with siblings), loss or death of those we love and care for, child maintenance, alimony payments, divorce, sexual dysfunction, power struggles, obsessive behavior.

Ceres in Aquarius/11H
From an esoteric viewpoint this is the house of the ‘world server', therefore you may have a mission to help the masses in a humanitarian way. Persons with this placement love the world and look at our global community as all are friends, bothers, or sisters. There are no boarders. Remember the song by John Lennon, ‘Imagine ‘Imagine all the people loving everyone….

We care and nurture our friends and are nurtured by them as well. All 12 step groups embody this archetype, the challenge loss, and then returning to a state of well being, while friends in the support group nurture and care for you. In addition, this placement would most likely include single parenting groups, adoption, foster parents, orphanages, or those who work in community group homes for disadvantaged children and youth. Ceres here may rebel against the social structure and want to see change, bringing in new innovative ideas, inventions, and to work to bring about positive change for our future. They can be activists and will let their ideas be known through the use the written word, newspapers, public speaking and books. Grief issues involves friend, groups, and rebelliousness, the rebel without a cause syndrome, adoption issues and our global community.

Psyche in 5H/11H (composite)

This relationship is focused on spiritually integrating your heart's desires and "inner child" with your love and
sexual relationship. Any vulnerable issues around creativity, children, fun, entertainment and sport that surface
will be brought to consciousness. Within this relationship you have real sensitivity towards each other and a
potential of psychic integration of the heart challenges you face individually. There is a great sense of meaning
in being together that feeds your soul on a higher level.

Sun Semi-Square Pluto
This relationship is neither superficial or casual. You exude intense personal responses from one another. The effects you have on each other are long lasting. Put another way, profound and inevitable elements of fate cause you to transform one another. Ego games and power struggles are issues.
