So, I am trying to learn horary and the question here is "Will I become pregnant this year?"

I found it interesting that the querent is Pluto ---> Mars which is conjunct Moon. Mars is also ruler of the 5th house but is being squared by Pluto and Sun and opposed by Uranus.

I think Moon can be seen as a co-ruler, right? I am not sure what it means to have Moon and Mars conjunct but in different signs, especially since they both represent the querent. In addition, if the querent is not planning to have children does this change the nature of the reading versus if there was a desire to have children?

I'd love some help in learning a bit more about horary so if you are able to contribute the reasons for things I would be very grateful since I would like to understand horary better

Edited to add: Other questions are, would "Other/Father" be Venus which is trining Moon? And do squares and trines mean the same thing in horary as they do in a regular natal chart? Or are they simply connections?

I'm trying to learn too, this one is almost too hard for me. lol

Ok. You are Pluto, since Mars rules 5th. You are also Moon (so could be pregnancy though). But you have Uranus in the 5th too. So I'll take you as Pluto+Moon , and Mars+Uranus as pregnancy.

Moon conjuncts Mars but it's seperating. Mars is exalted in 10th, Moon detriment in 10th. But both are 'accidentally dignified' (angular house). However seperating aspect means No. Pluto(you) is also square Uranus (5th) 0 degrees but seperating once again. Not good. Mars is not making any aspect to Pluto(you) nor Uranus(5th). Also not good. However Moon (you) is applying to Uranus(5th) 6 degrees. Good, but opposition is a hard aspect, shows difficulties, but it's applying so shows promise. And also Moon can be used the other way round. Being the question you asked. So Moon(pregnancy) is applying to Pluto (you) in a square 6 degrees. Square shows a challenge, but applying aspect shows promise again. However how all of this is connected is too much for me. lmao sorry

from here http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12782

''Know when to stop: If a planet needs to make an aspect to several other planets before reaching the planet you want it to reach, this is interference. Don’t read a chart as: ‘First the Moon conjuncts Mars and then it sextiles Jupiter and then it squares Saturn and then it trines my planet!’. The answer will usually stop at Mars.''

So since the Moon reaches Mars first (before Uranus+Pluto) in a seperating aspect I think unfortunately that means no. The Moon is also in early degrees, I think that means it's too early for your question. Aka you might not be ready yet?

*edit*
I've just noticed that both Uranus and Pluto are both in detriment houses (according to this table http://www.navarroastrology.com/articles/article?article_id=3 <--scroll down) so I'd say it is indeed a no overall.

Hopefully someone who actually knows more lol pitches in. =)

Anchi, Thanks so much for your response I found it confusing as well since I read that in modern astrology, mother is considered the 10th house. Also, I don't know much about horary myself but trying to learn Thank you!!

I want to say no, there will be no pregnancy, if in the slight chance there is, it will most likely result in a miscarriage.

Sorcha I think littlecloud might be talking about that Moon opposition Uranus, it's applying (showing promise) , but opposition is a hard aspect , so it would indicate difficulties, and Uranus is detriment in the 5th house. I'm not sure though. =)

Not just the moon opposite Uranus but the house position of Uranus as well. It's in the 5th house of children and combine that with the instability of Uranus and you most likely get a miscarriage. The hard aspect might make it an unplanned surprise but with many of the significators being in barren signs the possibility is less than slim that pregnancy of any kind will occur.

Thank you little cloud. I had thought Uranus might mean unplanned but you're right, I suppose it could also have other indications. I will have to re-read which signs/houses are considered barren.

Thanks again!!
