6 of Pentacles is a maybe card to me. Almost no.

Also... these cards alone cannot give a concrete answer. Combinations are the key.

Yes, thanks for posting this (I've seen it before). Just make sure to also use your intuition and look at the pictures on your deck to see what they also say to you =).

Thank you! This is very helpful =) A few of the cards are clearer on yes/no, while others such as The Hierophant are more confusing (for me anyways). This combined with intution & the surrounding cards, is msot helpful.

Have a great day =)

It depends for example: Should I start a new journey?

The Fool would say yes here. The Fool begins the Tarot "story"..he's going on a journey and has a lot to learn, so that would make it a yes. Of course, you have to use your intuition and surrounding cards if you pull any others

The 8 of Cups naturally being a "negative" or a no card, could be a yes on whether you should go...

To me any card could be a yes or no. Depends on the context and stuff like that .

I read that when you ask a positive question and a positive card shows up, the answer is yes, and if a negative card shows up it's a no. Meanwhile, when you ask a negative question and a negative card shows up, the answer is yes, and if it's a positive card the answer is no. I wonder how the others ask a yes/no question..

that would explain some of my confusion....

I agree, it's quite confusing, but it's the method that i use though. I asked a question on yahoo answers regarding what are the yes/no cards in the tarot, and the tarot reader that answered me said that the sun, the world, 4 of wands, 6 of wands, 9 of cups and 10 of cups are the yes cards, and the no cards are death, the tower, 3 of swords, 10 of swords, 5 of cups and 5 of pentacles. The method of asking that she taught me was the one that i just posted. From my past questions, it turned out to be accurate though.

Now when other people ask negative questions, i wonder what yes/no cards they use. The negative card answer as a yes for a negative question makes sense though, like it affirms the negativity, don't you think?

I think at times my own worries are reflected in the cards rather than the question itself, like if all I see is negativity, that's what the cards will reflect. It's why I've stepped away from them for a bit.

But I've found The World and Knight of Swords to represent an end of some sort. I had asked about he ultimate result about two different relationships, (at different times, months apart) and for one I got Knight of Swords, they seemed to end as quickly as they started. The other one I got the World, and when I saw it I thought even though there may be some sort of fulfillment here, it will be completed. The relationship ended about 4-5 months after it started.

So I guess it depends on the question as well.

That's very true littlecloud. I have a very hard time reading for myself, but I have predicted and seen things coming as well (when I have gotten really serious and stopped worrying/asking so many times!).

I predicted this guy was going to contact me soon..and bam 2 days later, there it goes. I also said we would argue (sure enough) and that he would "block" me or something similar. LOL, I predicted all of that. Also when an argument was going to ensue (Knight of Swords..the person acted just like him!). I remember also asking how an appointment was going to turn out. I got the King of Swords, sure enough the advisor was a male who resembled the King of Swords (he was the only male out of all the females that were present that day). So I was quite shocked, lol. It helps me understand the cards better, I try to always ask the cards how something will turn out, then see if I was accurate . The 7 of Swords taught me that I was going to get away with a "little white lie" that day, which I did. So, it made me see that card a whole different way.

So back to yes or no, I try to be as intuitive as possible and I try really hard to look at the pictures, the numbers, etc. That sounds interesting about negative card/positive card and the question.

I try to use my example most of the time. "Should I move?" 6 of Swords/8 of Cups/8 of Wands/6 of Wands = Yes (they all show someone moving and going out on a journey). I try to do things that way and trust my gut .

What did you ask Paul?

Use your gut feeling about the card that you pulled and the deck that you have used.

This could mean maybe because it's a balancing act.

It's better to ask how someone feels about you than ask "Does ___ love me?" you want to get a clear answer, ask "How" instead of "Does" or yes/no questions when it's something important to you .

It may mean that she doesn't love you, but still has feelings for you. She's "blinded" by a decision or something like that.

What deck did you use? Look at the picture and describe it. Look at the symbolism..moon in the background? Water? it shows deep feelings, but someone is confused about these feelings.

Even in this card you showed I can pick up someone is "undecided". There are two different paths and two different directions, that's why I say maybe or she doesn't know what she feels (might not be "love" but there might be some other feelings there).
