Hi, after trying to find an explanation to the very strong mutual attraction and attachment I share with my lover of 3 years, I compared our charts and found that his Saturn conjuncts my North Node in Aquarius and my Saturn conjuncts his North Node in Capricorn. I'm wondering if this is the reason why we are so.. cemented in our relationship and can't let go of the other. Not that I would ever want to, he understands and loves me and teaches me things no one else ever could. It just feels so deep and overwhelming sometimes that I occasionally feel like I can not breathe. I try to distance myself from him, but I can't. And sometimes he feels the same way. What do you guys think? Do you think something like this will last? Get sronger or fade over time? It feels like it's getting stronger.

Please, any opinions would be greatly appreciated!!

Well, it's hard to say anything about longevity without looking at a chart. I can say that the NN conjunct Saturn going both ways can probably feel heavy at times - like you're fulfilling a duty to the other, I imagine. I see it as a heavily karmic double aspect but the good news is that it goes both ways do at least there is balance.

I've had the experience when it was one sided and that, I feel, usually can't be maintained over the long haul, typically speaking.

Saturn conjunctions, especially with the nodes feel like the two are glued togheter and even if they hate each other they won't separate, until the lessons have been learned.I also had a nn conj saturn in capricorn, with a friend of mine. She was my best friend for 4 years, after that our roads separated and i really learned a lot from her and as she had learned from me.
Your saturn touches his moon and you bring emotional maturity in this relationship. His emotions are more stable and he feels like he can really trust and rely on you. His pluto and moon are on your 7th house wich is a good sign for marriage. The moon there shows a very comfortable marriage and a happy life togheter, but pluto will bring transformation and power struggles. Pluto never looks through rose coloured spectacles. His change and transformation comes through pain, birth, rebirth and destruction of useless things to make room for the good ones.
There is no chart that can show exactly how much a relationship will last. I don't see it as good or bad and i am sure your time togheter will be everything but boring. Good luck

Edit: i saw just now your venus is in his 12th house and it shows a rather difficult relationship in a past life. It is said that a man should avoid a woman with her venus in his 12th and a woman should avoid a man with his mars in her 12th house. That's what the traditional astrology says, but i think there is a strong karmic bond between the two and it's not necesarily bad.

Thank you. So, we're less like soul mates and more like teachers? I could maybe see that.
