My birthday is 02.26.67. Born at 8ish AM. I am female and my first name is Laura. Is there anything else you need from me to do a reading?

I am looking for answers in two areas. The first has to do with my son. Long story but he is angry, and angry with me. He is blaming me for things that aren't so much my fault. Some absolutely are 100% my fault, others, however, are not. I know "he will get it right" as I've been reassured by spirit that he will. I just really would like another perspective as mine is clouded, I think, when it comes to him in this particular situation.

The second thing I am interested in knowing about pertains to a project I have been working on for more than 5 years. I've dedicated my life to a task and it is a very tall order. I believe I will be successful and do something that will help missing person investigations everywhere but, again, I suspect my perspective is clouded since it's about me! lol

Ok my first impression is that you didn't tell him something about his father. It's about an issue that has come to a close but weighed heavily on your mind. Hanged man and Preistess are both telling me you are waiting for the right moment, hanging in limbo... The Magician is a good for taking control of the situation.
I think your son sees you as perhaps too much in control with things, not being fair even if you are offering what you have (6 of discs). Page of Rods shows hope for leaving desolation behind but the final outcome 5 of cups spells heart break.

Overall I'm thinking that perhaps you need to sit him down tell him to just listen to you and talk to him honestly about what is going on (or what did). I think he will be heartbroken either way for a bit though. I don't think you can spare him any pain no matter what you do, but I believe there is a possibility for him to see your point of view.

I see a lot of fear here. Something happened in your past that is the entire reason of doing this. Something that still bothers you to this day. Your issue is taking charge, I think you may not be charging ahead as much as you should. With all the cups I'm assuming because this is an incredibly emotional investment as well and you fear failure.

I think you are doing well so far. Two things. I believe you still have more work to get done, and that your age may be an issue. if not age, experience...

I need to soak this in before I can comment on the first one, I'm not certain there is something I haven't told him but I'll think about it because maybe there is.

As to the 2nd one, you're pretty darn close but what is amazing is that I was at the Renaissance Fair in Wisconsin over the weekend and the 9 of swords came up 1st there when I had a reading done. He's the bad boy who has caused me SO MUCH grief over the past few years. His ruthless reign is just about over. With that, my project will move forward more quickly. It's not age that's the problem, I am 46; it's "proven" experience but you're close to spot on there.

I see the 9 of swords similarly to the 8 of swords. They both speak of fear, in the 9 of swords I see them as imagined fears and sorrow. The figure (in my deck) is covering their eyes and the swords are an interwoven barrier. So I take it as a literal block to taking control/going after what you want (the chariot). This represents you, your grief, not necessarily the other person.
With all the 'young' popping up, the pages, that's what made me think of age but when I looked up from typing I realized there were several knight there as well and that's when I thought that perhaps it was 'inexperience' that would be more the issue than your age.

OK, after thinking about it. I suspect what you are seeing is my desire to sit down with my son and "talk". I've been wanting to do that but he is not ready for it and therefor the time is not right. There are a lot of influencing factors so its not so cut and dry or simply between me and him and that's only part of it too. So, you did pick up my need and want to sit down and have a long talk with him and the timing not being right and while it is about his father it is not something I haven't told him other than I haven't had the opportunity to actually get to that point because he is simply too emotionally immature. He's not quite 22 but emotionally he's still a rebellious 14 year old who rebels for the sake of rebellion. One minute he hates me, the next minute, like last night, he's a chatter monkey and talking up a storm. His negativity comes from what he's been taught through what he has lived and he has a negative view of me because that is how his father sees me and has always treated me (we all learn what we live). And, YES, his father is SELFISH; it's always about him. He wants to be something he is not and I think a person in that state can NEVER EVER see the truth. Their denial is paradoxical but unfortunately when a person in that kind of state has influence over children or young minds, or any mind for that matter, it can only create confusion, distortion and a vortex of chaos for all those who enter that sphere. The 5 of Cups, I believe, is my son's ultimate ending to this situation which is ok because I'll be there to help him understand and get through it and get through it he will, and he will be much stronger because of it in the end. My son is the Page of Cups (Scorpio). The 7 of Cups as clarification for the 5 of Cups tells me where he's at right now and that makes PERFECT sense. He is disillusioned about WHY he is so focused on what went wrong (the cups that fell) rather than see what he has standing right behind him. He'll get it right. That much I know. This is the necessary path toward truth and growing and understanding. He was living an illusion and it all came crashing down around him. Since he is not yet ready to admit to himself what he has created all on his own, he must pass blame onto another, and that would be me. He'll grow up and see what is eventually (I just wish it were SOONER rather than later!).

Regarding work, your take was quite interesting. I do believe the 9 of Swords is the Grief from the horrendous things that have been done to me in an effort to prevent me from completing my work. The Sun card came up and I'm certain that is precisely the meaning - independent and free! At last!
