With love and one-on-one with men... my self-confidence I possess in areas like leadership and my talents seems to fly out the window. I feel a lot of it, is sadly in my own head. I can't get over my own insecurities and it's ruining my life with dating. I constantly obsess over what I said right or wrong, if they were offended by a comment I made, if I'm too loud or not open enough, if they think I'm too mature or maybe immature.

I also have a tendency to get into things way too quickly which can freak some out, not in a clingy way but a really deep way, where I say things about myself honestly and try to soul-search but it can somehow, backfire on me and make me or the other person feel strange. This is a BIG problem for me maybe more so, than the other person. I always wonder, Have I said or revealed too much?

Here's my natal chart for reference.

Am I really doomed to constant insecurities and second-guessing in love? Why do I always blurt everything out too soon? Can I find a way to overcome these issues among others? Thanks everyone...

Somewhat. Yes I can agree with this... I tend to feel like my heart and mind are not always aligned. I always feel very self-conscious of what I say and do. I always second guess my actions and reprimand myself for my own idiocies later. But then again I am extremely hard on myself, and I don't know why. I act two times older than most young women my age, I have a superior intellect to many people I have met, yet I have this communication issue that ruins it all. My good artistic talents will bring me a lot in the near future, I hope, but when it comes to the personal arena of things, I have nothing in the end it seems...

The Merc-Saturn I feel blessed with. Even though my Saturn has given my communication and edu. grief it allows my mind to remain stable but gloomy at times. I think the Merc-Mars square definitely is bad bad bad. I really hate it so much and I can very much come off with, really bad sarcasm, bawdy and instigating sense of humor, confrontational speaking at times, and then verbal strife that's lead people so much older than me to even cry. I'm going to anger management for my communication problems though.

I slightly identify with the first explanation but way more with your second one. In my heart I feel the H3 Saturn-Merc and Chiron influence on my chart makes me feel very self-conscious about emotional expression and I can imagine attacks and disputes where they don't exist, and feel that people really don't care or like what I say when they really do or are neutral to it. Calmness in my reaction to others' reactions and not being suspicious they hate me is something I am valiantly trying to learn.

I feel that deep down inside I can never fully please myself and once again, the misfortune seems to stem from really my own depressive tendencies and issues with the mind, H3 Saturn. What do you think? I mean, compared to others who I know I am 10 times, 100 times more ambitious and probably off to being successful in my arena of life, yet even the accomplishments I make in literature that make others go ooh and ahh I just don't give a **** about because they aren't big or 'good' enough for me. It's very unsettling since it's an ego issue not being an ingrate. Like I constantly have to work harder to please this monster on my back urging me to do better and better and better when in reality, people like me just as I am, even just 'normal'.

Thank you for the straightforward advice. I think a big lesson to learn for me is to keep the Libran charm of Sun-ASC and start to tone down the Martian attitudes I have displayed that do not end up making anything better. I feel I have an excellent sense of self but then, suddenly, no sense of self deep down. I can reveal myself to some people I am close to but when it comes to the opposite sex I always feel like you said, that my heart isn't in the rewards I get... like a smile or a good date.

You really summed it up well. I'm going to be successful sheerly from drive and ambition to never quit alone. But in my heart, sometimes I am never happy no matter what. And that has been a problem for a very long time. I think it is more mental than emotional. And VERY prominent in my relationship life. I think I need to learn how to put my cold analytical side away, from my Virgo sense of self, in this arena, or else that will keep me from being happy. And Saturn squares my Descendant so that can be an issue too. It seems I create a lot of issues with my own depressive state of mind. With time I am getting more sure that I have inherited some kind of disorder that I need to treat, and I feel I will be rewarded with more emotional freedom of I treat it with therapy and a doctor.

I'm surprised about how Saturn actually has made me way more advanced since I've typically seen it as a planet of limitations. Maybe I just am imaging the limitations but they aren't actually there...Maybe H3 Saturn is what makes me so far ahead of everyone else after all. I'm intrigued by how you said for most astrological influences begin around the 18th birthday...when do you think mine began? I'm guessing at 14? Maybe even younger?

Also, that's very true about Saturn square ASC. I'm not actually a shy person deep down but this placement can make me have a tendency to feel like sometimes I speak too much or just, should not be deserving attention or respect.
