Am so happy to report that I had stitiches out yesterday (20.82012) and my gum graft surgery was a success!!! This was down to me being super careful, staying off work, and being regimental about what I could and couldnt eat. My surgeon was super impressed with me. Am so relieved, if I hadn't been so careful, there were things that could go wrong.

Reminded me of Sweet-Scorps reading:

Second card: How you can recover emotionally from what happened to you with Mom... I got 8 of Cups. I feel that for you, this means you need to take a period of solace away from your mom, since it appears that right now all she has to offer is inappropriate negativity and cruelty to you, without even considering your painful condition. 8 of Cups tells us to quietly move on from something by using our heart and our intuition. Trust yourself - a short separations period can bring peace, not bad feelings. Give her time to get over her own anger. This removal period is not hostile and it should not bring regret, since the man moving away from the Cups in the image isn't angry.

Third card: Health in the immediate future and what you can do to improve it... the Death card. Of course this doesn't mean you will die from your surgery! To me, this card means, that this was a very serious and transformative procedure for you - as you said, it 'shocked' you - that drained a good deal of your physical energy. Therefore, Death coming up for you in terms of how to improve health makes me think you might have a tendency to keep pushing ahead but really need to relax and rest two times as much as you usually would right now to avoid problems. You're vulnerable to problems from stress and lack of energy.

Fourth card: Health in the near future... the Lovers. This makes me wonder if, your relationship with "M" could help you heal, or maybe he could offer you support in this time that could make the recovery process easier. In terms of health, the Lovers represent to me, two people working as a unit to get better. So it seems, you either need a really good friend or M or whoever to be with you at this time as you heal. I can see now that the lack of support you received from your mother post-op probably really hurt you, and that you would rather battle this recovery with support than alone. Sometimes people prefer to relax alone to heal but, right now, you really know you want someone by your side. The Lovers is telling you to reach out, and ask for that support. Even though your mom can't give you it right now, someone else will."

The reading was spot on! I took note of it, and looked after myself.
