The only way we could get married without him losing his good standing in the Church is if I converted, which would mean betraying a lot of my own beliefs and being insincere to my own spiritual journey. While I fully share my boyfriend's belief that we should strive for the unconditional love, service, and compassion represented by Christ (hence why we've made it this far without breaking up), I find it very hard to accept some of his religion's theology, and feel extremely uncomfortable with the idea of putting total faith in a religious institution. Whereas he derives comfort from structured religion, I find it oppressive and restrictive.

I think this shows up pretty clearly in our charts. We have a rash of Jupiter squares and oppositions to Mercury, the moon, and Venus, reflecting our differences in philosophical and religious ideals. Our sun/Neptune conjunction probably added enough idealism at the beginning to obscure the reality of those differences, and our favorable Mercury aspects have gone a long way to keep the doors of communication open even when we disagree.

I'm wondering if there's anything in our charts that looks strong enough to overcome the religious issues we're facing. Any feedback would be deeply appreciated!

You both have some verrry strong Chiron linkages (Chiron in their system points to your soulmate and true love).
- Your Chiron in a strong contra-parallel to his Venus in the geo-declinations.
- Your Chiron in an EXACT conjunction (2 or so minutes apart) to his Venus in the Helio-longitudes. Very striking!
(both MAGIcal linkages, the strongest soulmate-linkages you could have between 2 in a romantic relationship, and don't forget the tightness of orb)

So, not a surprise to find these after reading your words of *love*.

But now we come to the problem.
Saturn always IS (in their system) a problem although less when there's Saturn-balance.
Happily and striking enough there is just ONE Saturn-clash BUT.. this one is 'coincidentally' the worst one you could have. They call it the 'Heartbreak clash': Your Saturn in a quincunx to his Chiron.
He already has a Saturn/Chiron clash natally himself and with your Saturn also Quincunx his Chiron this would literally make a Heartbreak-Yod.

This gives *you* a certain strong amount of power over him with the probability to break *his* heart.

Btw, you both have also some very strong sexual linkages in geo-long and even a cluster of sexual planets in geo-dec.
Spicy enough when it comes to physical intimacy.

The strong linkages together with this heartbreak-yod is a bit ambiguous.
You experience a deep sense of love but on the other hand you feel disconnected which could confirm the religious problem between.

My conclusion would be this.
The relationship will - to a certain degree - always be tumultuous on this point. It will take very definite choices from your side to lessen this clash as much as possible. Not many marriages survived a heartbreak clash but with the tremendous power of love to him (chiron-> venus) a sacrifice is more easily made than if it wasn't there, so I would say, it's mainly in *your* hands.
