does anyone have any information, books, links, etc on the topic of getting in touch, expanding, unblocking, etc etc your chakras.

i got sucked into this a while back, but stopped cuz lack of resources....i would like to give it another shot tho?

anyone?

edit: also, is it possible to get to the higher ones without mastering the ones before. i don't want to come off as immature or disrespectful of the process/art..w/e. and i'm not asking in hopes of finding short cuts or w/e...just some chakras, i'd perfer closed...if yah know what i mean...

I'd love to help but I honestly don't even know...maybe this is going a bit far, but is there someone who practises Hinduism or Buddhism who's available in your town/city? Maybe they could help.

google shaktipaat diksha and you will find some good gurus. Provided you know who the good ones are. Some are outright commercial gurus. So beware. I don't know your region. But anyways this diksha can be given even overseas. So i am sure even closing/controlling the chakras could be done overseas.

I will try and name a few. You could request them for guidance. (You can google them to find their addresses and tel nos.)

i'd love to meet someone in person that knows all this stuff.
i'm moving in two days tho, and am not really sure what they have availlable there ... it is somewhat of a bigger city so you never know...
i've always wanted to take a class, or come in contact with someone who'd be there in person to answer my questions.

have you ever had that kind of opertunity...
was it expensive?

The most I've had was World Religions class in High School. If you do meet someone like that or if you try to seek out someone, I'd say do it up! I want to at some point. Good luck with your move!

I am into Bhakti Yoga and have not chosen this path or been laid to it by GOD. Put it anyway you like. But there are a no. of lineages who offer this Shaktipaat Diksha. And some charge and some don't. Even the charges vary. Principally they cannot charge for this. And i dont think the lineage i have given you does. However, some do in order to imbibe the importance of what is given, on the taker. Or else nowadays there is a tendency to devalue it. Things given free of charge tend to loose their imp if the one who receives it does not realise its importance.

You can contact them and ask and get their guidance. I don't think they will charge you but will definately expect you to follow the advice given sincerely.
