I have spent quite a while crying and trying to understand why this had to happen. Just when I came to understand I was ok with living my life and letting past stay in the past.

I have been through everything on his account. Spilling alcohol over my feet, falling off the bike at 3am, getting random heartaches and especially guilt feelings as I thought things falling apart between us spurred him on to ruin his life and become a total wreck.

What should I do? Should I try and help him now to deal with his emotional crap and possibly worse? He hinted he's feeling as good as dead inside, is this permanent? Is this my fault? He used to be really talented - can I do anything to help him without sending my own life down the drain? What does he want from me?

If anyone could spare a little bit of time to give me a reading or something? I'd be happy with astrological interps too, will post whatever charts may be required

The second card could be about yourself, specially as you asked for an advice, but it could be about your ex-lover. But from your post I tend to believe it is about you.

If it is about him, perhaps he is being egocentric or taking things too personally ? Well in this case I would not know how to interpret both cards.

I understand this is about a learning path about working together in relationships and about love. You need to identify your weak points and learn from them, develop new skills that will become your future foundation, and plan and use creatively your knowledge you have in practical terms now. At the same time, listen to your heart and your higher self, and be honest to yourself. You can be kind to him and give him love without expecting anything back. Pursue your own dreams, but be aware of illusions.

I have been through this, am actually going through this right now. My ex lovers, all of them, have returned in my life all at once but here is what it is, NO, you should bury past in past. If these people are in your past, there is a reason why they did not make it to your present or your future. as matter of fact, I have realized that the minute you start being happy & living your life, something or someone from past definitely pops up. its like these people will never let you be happy. but you should take it as a sign that "its happening only because m on my happiness track" & move on. No do not blame yourself for anything happening to him. He is responsible for that. Do Not accept him back or even reply his messages or anything at all . if you are meant to be with him or help him in anyway, universe will think of a way to exactly throw him in your path, but do not CHOOSE him.

Just my thoughts + what I have been going through when all my ex lovers started messaging me again after years

I am suspecting he wants compassion and human warmth at the very least, definitely a lot of attention to his problems. I often think the purpose of his presence in my life is to make me scared of scenarios in which I have to sleep with someone else I have no feelings for and remember/regret how good we used to have it.

Until recently it was - no one can take my past away from me, and there's no guarantee the future will ever offer anything remotely comparable, I didn't care. Then I kind of realised he might have not been what I wanted anyway, he lacked vibes, fiery energy, whatever else, so I just thought "if I was the only one who made it all happen, I don't really have to regret anything, since it's all within me and has nothing to do with him". Seriously, it seems I wrote a screenplay and let him act it out, I was creating situations which made me believe he was actually doing things, but it was an illusion, and a well-crafted one too, seeing I got taken in myself

But he brought my fears back, I'm back to dreading to think of my future, to think I will never be happy properly or find anyone I could really dig. Which also annoys me, as if he was trying to obtain some emotional comfort at my expense

yeah I remember doing a reading for you about this if I remember right

there is always a possibility that future is not gonna offer anything better, this is what makes me scared if you know what I mean

because the universe may well choose to give me plump blond 35 year olds for the rest of my life. perhaps it will decide I'm only good enough for late-blooming idiots or worse still 30+ virgins. if the universe wants this, surely I have the right not to pick this rubbish up.... this is what I find annoying, really

Sorry for the delayed response, I wanted to be totally centered for the reading to hopefully be more in tune w the situation.

The cards: 7 of wands, page of wands, king of swords, king of wands, the devil, the chariot, judgement, page of swords, 6 of cups. Clarification card: 8 of swords how to proceed: death likely outcome: 2 of cups.

My overall feeling is that the news of Alex shook your balance, as you were feeling confident about being past the relationship and healing was taking place. You felt like a victor who comes home after fighting a heroic battle and triumphs over the horrors of war.

In this case the emotional war of the turbulence involved in loving a person with many inner demons & addictions (the devil). Perhaps a bit of obsession and control as well. You felt the chains of the past to be vast off, and had set your eyes on a different type for future love interests, a personality completely opposite of Alex.
