So my love life is complicated as always lol. I met someone and despite telling myself I'm not going to be involved with anyone right now, there is an electric attraction that is very strong. (makes me think we have strong uranus synastry but idk his exact birthday) He's a Sagittarius which I always have a soft spot for, he's 8 years older than me lol which is kind of weird but I like that he is more mature than guys I usually date...The thing is I'm away for the semester or possibly the year, so this could probably never really be anything serious. At this point I would be more than grateful for even a short term romantic fling just to get my spirits up about dating again... But I've faced enough disillusionment recently and don't need any more messy or complicated encounters Not to mention the very confusing situation with someone back home that was left completely up in the air... I feel a loyalty to this person even though we both agreed that there is no commitment to each other at this time and we're both free to do what we want. Anyway, I guess just to boil it down, my question for a tarot reading is: should I go for it with this guy?? Would the outcome ultimately be positive? Question: 4 of Wands
Outcome: 5 of Swords I'd say if you are going to proceed with this guy, a fling is not advised. I'd take it slow and see what he's about, as you would do with any guy that's new really. You are still in the process of healing yourself and piecing things back together, there is no need to rush headfirst into a new relationship, fling, etc because there may be some unpleasantness to randomly pop up down the line if things are rushed. Watch for what is said, harsh exchanges, etc. Which might be expected if he is a Sag, but that's what I get from 5 of swords. I can see you two dating at least with 4 of wands. IP: Logged |

Thank you very much for your reading Lazyscarecrow  I looked up the meanings of those cards and they do seem really fitting. Especially the temperance one, I've been hurt in the past, but I am healing and learning how to do things without sabotaging myself in the process. And you're very right about not rushing into it. I think I just wanted the distraction, but when it comes down to it you're also right about not being ready for a commitment (especially since I'm not staying here long term) and he is a free spirited Sag but I think we may just be on different pages in life because of the age difference.. And having a fling could definitely have consequences down the line.. So yeah I guess that is what I needed to hear. If we do end up spending time together I will just try to take things very slowly lol Anyway, thanks again for the reading I appreciate it! IP: Logged |
