Ok here goes! What did he expect: The Knight of Pentacles.
The Knight is the card of pracitibility. I dont think he expected anything really. Yet. This card... it represents a goal. And they will not stop till it is achieved. Patient and practical and hardworking. Also, this card signifies a search for a long term relationship. Would he be trying to win you back? But not all flashy or quick. Thank you. Well since then I answered his happy birthday and he answers me back and told me that he was sorry for hurting me but he don't feel responsible for it  I feel like he didn't understand anything and he still don't know what happened. For your reading i use the sun & moon deck:
princess of cup

queen of swords It seems that you are the princess of cup with lot of romantic project and on the other end you want to know everything et be sure of your choice. In the end the queen of sword will force clarity on the darkness and the mask will fall.
