Today I made a 3-card love tarot reading, and I could use some help to figure out the meanings of these cards!Past - The magician
Present - The lovers

Hi EmsieMagician tells us about a time where you are very much able to make of your life whatever you want. This can also be a man who is very manipulating & probably a player. In present, the Lovers tell us you are surrounded by love & attraction. watch out for the people right now in or coming in your life one of these days. The Lovers is also a card where you are talking about physical love & passion.People associate this card with choices, but I don't. Depends whats your choice in interpreting them. Future: Hermit for me is always a period of self-reflection & isolation. No I do not think its platonic relationship. its a time where you are taking a break from love & relationships. I try to see how these fit in my current situation. I'm still single, but I like someone quite older than me. This week I felt something strange - people call it 'sparks flying'... I'm not sure what will be the outcome of this 'thing' between us, but if The hermit is in the future position I guess it's not a good one...  IP: Logged |

Maybe the lovers there indicate that he's involved with someone else (this is why I rarely associate the lovers with "love". This card frequently shows up for me when there is more than one person to "choose" from, or just someone else in the picture). But every reader is different and that's the way my spirit guides and Tarot deck "speak" to me (different cards mean different things to people).IP: Logged |

I was thinking the same, and to be honest this popped up in my mind exactly today! Maybe that's the other reason I did this love tarot reading... What do you think, does that mean maybe a break-up for him? Or me doing the usual analyzing thing... IP: Logged |

If this is about you two being together, then it's a no. If this is about his relationship it means they will break up. If this is about your life in general it means that although you may have an interest, a time of lonliness/self-reflection is coming up. IP: Logged |

lovers is choice
hermit is reflection...some kind of decision will be made, and you'll end up reflecting on it...
personally, i rarely get the lovers to have anything to do with love or relationships. for me the decision has always been about some daily mundane dilemma. however if the question was love related, then ya some kind of decision. should i stay or should i go. IP: Logged |

Okay, today I did another reading asking what's in his life! I pulled 3+1 cards:
First The tower, then The lovers, then Death and the plus one was The devil. Sounds quite dark for me - to say the least...
However, the first thing popped in my mind was that maybe he's trying to break free from those chains and feels trapped if he's really in a relationship... Any other ideas what this combination of 4 cards could mean? IP: Logged |
