My chart never made any sense to me as far as accuracy goes. When looking up the meanings it never clicked until I tried whole signs. Does anyone use whole signs and find it to be more accurate? Jupiter rx in 2nd house makes more sense to me than in 1st as well as Mars in the 12th house..I have to continue looking the rest up.

mine is not massively affected, stays almost the same, or whatever changes could be both ways, all the important stuff is the same in placidus and equal house

People with third decan Ascendants would be the most affected by this. For me being a first decan ASC, it doesn't affect me much.

I've fiddled with the house systems for some time now, always come back to placidus

doesn´t work for me in terms of the "houses-layer", but of course it does emphasise the natural relation between signs, back to ASC.

With Placidus I have a 12th house Mars. With whole signs, my 0° Virgo Mars moves into the first house (Virgo). Reading the descriptions, a 12th house Mars seems to fit me more, but then some of the 1st house description seems to fit me as well. Maybe its because my Mars is at 0° that the line is blurred.

I never knew about whole signs, very interesting my Sun, venus from from the 12th to the 1st house, my mercury and pluto from the first to the second house and so on...will post my chart later on. Sun in first house hmm I have to say I agree with the description rather with the Sun in the 12th.
