I've posted 2x and both of my posts have disappeared from reading various posts on here, apparently its a glitch ?? Whatever that means. I don't understand y our posts would be deleted when we r all getting along on here. Hmm...

If this post should happen to miraculously NOT disappear I'll repost what I had said.

What's my favorite animal?

Yea, I'm done right now, Empress. They just blew the wind right out of my sails. I can't deal with that type of negativity. It's been fun everyone. :')

~ I have reported the moderator. Hopefully, they will respond back to me. This isn't the first time she has done this. I'm not sure if it's on purpose, but someone has to check it out whether it's intentionally or not..it's still wrong..sorry you had to go through that..and thanks for being kind with everyone here

Oh wow that stinks ): was really looking forward to this thread too. Hopefully it is not part of a negative intent as that would be really messed up. So sorry, leap ): your posts/readings are awesome & inspiring. Totally understand how draining & frustrating this is.

Could we possibly email you for whenever works out w you in the future? Its sad to have a positive exchange be dampened Glitch or intentional. Not trying to add more to it... I am a fire sun and can be blunt. I do apologize if this is too blunt.

That's a huge bummer. O_O

I've had it happen before, not just in PR, but in Astro 2.0 as well. I'm pretty sure it's not a mod's fault, PR is probably the most leniently moderated active subforum here in LL. I'm thinking it's a problem on the webhost's end and/or the forum's software, UBB .46a, which was released 13 years ago! Would you imagine that? The last stable release was version 6.7.3, and even that was 7 years ago... so I'm definitely not counting on it to provide optimal performance. (I'm surprised it's still available on the market)

I've noticed this glitch happens when the server gets clogged. One is when you upload multiple images (which includes smileys btw) exceeding the max limit of 8 (IIRC), and then hit refresh multiple times since it seem to take FOREVER to post. (anyone have had that happen?) You know the server takes a while to update and show your posts right? So the clog happens when multiple submissions are carried... it can only process as much. The server always tries to revert to the state it was in when a post happens (based on the timestamp). Kinda like Windows System Restore, where your computer goes back to a state it was in before a certain event. So when it tries to cope up with multiple requests on an earlier post, it eventually forgets later posts made as the state always goes back to that earlier timestamp. It rinses and repeats until that glitch-inducing multiple request was served. Another clog is when it wasn't caused on our end (totally their side/entire hosted sites are affected).

If you haven't closed your browser tab, and your browser has a form-recovery feature, you could try hitting 'Back' until you arrive at the 'Post Reply' page. If you're lucky, your typed post would still be there. I've already made it a habit to Copy my entire post prior to hitting Submit... I don't think I haven't been so frustrated when it first happened to me, on a very lengthy post at that. D;

Now I'm not 100% sure that this is the case, but just providing another perspective on a technical end. Totally sorry to have heard it happen to so many people in such a short time.

Yea, I was on this afternoon answering questions, refreshed the page and instead of it being 2 pages it was 1. -_- I can think of 1,000 reasons why. Thing is, I've been getting this feeling that somebody is watching the threads I post and not liking the volume of responses nor the level of accuracy. (I even saw their name!) It's actually quite disgusting. And for me, it's not about the time I put into it or energy but, COURAGE, CONFIDENCE and most importantly FAITH. It's not easy to get onto a forum and offer to read complete strangers in hopes of finding where your strengths and weaknesses lie. And for me, it's not accuracy that messes me up but, confidence, courage and faith in my abilities. (Yes, I know, this is something I have to work on.) Sometimes I sit here and second guess myself over and over again b/c not only do I NOT want to be wrong - I don't know where the information comes from. So I have to have faith in my abilities. Again, that's not always easy. ESPECIALLY with these threads b/c y'all already know the answers. So, I sit here and second guess myself longer than I normally would b/c I don't want to muck it up. Normally I wouldn't let one bad apple spoil the bunch but, this has just left a serious bad taste in my mouth. And this is not the first time it's happened. If you take a look at the other 2 or 3 threads I've posted, you'll see people saying the same thing. "I post a question but, I don't know where it went." -_- It's TOTALLY unfair to EVERYONE. So, I'm going to ruminate on it for a spell. And once my piscean sun/caner moon wounds have healed, I'll post another thread. MAYBE...

I have to say I agree. Even through some of the arguments I've seen on LL between moderators and posters, they've never deleted their own posts (that I've noticed anyway). Plus I don't think someone would be that petty in general.

^THIS^

Trust me..it's not the server or a glitch. The same person has done it in the past.
I have witnessed it very, very closely myself..

They might be viewing it and hitting the back button so the posts start disappearing accidentally..that's the only "good" thing I can come up with..

Ugh it sucks, I wonder why a person would do such a thing. I find it hard to believe that someone would be jealous of the popularity of this thread (that would be very childish) & start deleting posts. I hope it's just a glitch. Leap year, I hope that someday you do return, many users in here enjoy your threads & appreciate you sharing your gifts with us. We'll be waiting patiently, whenever you're ready! =)

Sigh if it isn't a glitch, it is really petty and hurtful. It feels we have a sister/brotherhood of kindred souls here and to have a person abuse trust in such a way is beyond hurtful. This is the first time I've noticed this, but as leap mentioned it did happen on the other threads as well. The only thing which comes to mind would be that the overwhelming positive responses are threatening for whatever reason.

Hopefully this isn't the case and it's a random glitch... And that it doesn't happen again. Not fair to tarnish the positive rapport out of ego or whatever. I don't like feeling mistrustful, just seems off/odd for an entire page to vanish. Well in this case it's more than one page .

If I remember correctly, leaps reply on answering all at once was still on page one. Page one is still up minus that reply. Very weird. I've had a post disappear in the past, but it always pops up again after refreshing the browser. In this situation, all responses remain disappeared/deleted. Hopefully somone will look into this further in fairness to the integrity of all

Whatever the reasons the posts are not showing up, it's really messed up. I was looking forward to your guesses LYP. I actually did ask a question in a previous post of yours which was deleted I guess. when I came back to check on your answers, my post wasn't there. I even doubted that I posted it.

This really sucks!!

Thanks however for sharing your gifts so generously on here. I hope that this will be fixed and that you'll come back

Leap hope this experience doesn't sour the forum for you. I've been on here for nine years, and it truly is a second home sometimes there are negative incidents as w any large group, but there are lots of wonderful threads and people. It is a true blessing to find kindred friends on here, wouldn't trade that for anything hope you decide to stay, even without doing readings as your energy is wonderful

It happened in one of my threads in the past while I was doing readings for that particular person and others. This happened months ago and while I was a little upset (I had typed a positive reading for someone, but hers was negative) I just shrugged it off since at least the person who the reading was intended to got to read it.

It's that same person because this didn't happen again until recent..

I've already thought of all of all of this, Leo, b/c I've had some of these EXACT things happen. Hell, I even had a problem posting this thread b/c of the same reasons you've brought up but, I doubt it. Before the pages were deleted, some other single posts were deleted. And these same people were saying I already posted but, I don't see my post, so, I'll repost. Smh... I don't WANT to think it's for nefarious reasons buuuuuuuut, what else is it leading to?? *scratches head*

Nah, you're good. I grew under rule of a Gemini Sun/Leo Asc mother - need I say more?? I don't think I'll be able to stay away from LL. I've met too many awesome people here and I like helping others. AND LL helped me realize what I'm suppose to be doing with my gift AND there aren't many limits to it. ANNNNNDDD...
