I read the following in an article and I was wondering if anyone else had heard of this or had any opinion on its accuracy. It worked for one of my brothers, but none of the other charts I looked at.Frequently your age at marriage is plainly indicated right in your natal chart. Just look at the distance in zodiacal degrees between any two of the heavenly bodies symbolic of male and female, love and passion--Sun, Moon, Venus and Mars. Often the number of degrees between two of these "love planets" will equate to your age at a major romance or at marriage. I should caution that this method doesn't always work. Sometimes you'll need more sophisticated calculations. Look first for the distance in degrees between Venus, the planet of love, and your natal Sun. Venus is usually close to the Sun by zodiacal degree, and is one of the most important marriage indicators. Next look for the distances between any of the other four "love planets"--Sun, Moon, Venus and Mars. Check out also the distance between any of these four planets and the Ascendant or Midheaven. Each degree of distance will equate roughly to a year of your life. So what does my chart say?

This is bollocks IMO Some old woman was trying to convince me that because of the distance between my sun and Venus I'm not gonna get any true love until I'm 45 And I've had much cooler than anyone already I don't think this solar arc sh*t works. At any rate this is not the only indicator IP: Logged |

With Solar Arc I focus on the seventh house ruler and the arcs any planets make to that or any other planet in my seventh house, or what arcs the ruler makes to the other planets, I know Venus arcing Sun may alternatively mean more money or better luck in career, I always see the house rulers and the houses in which the planets are in themselves as a better indicator.

I agree with AshSkye. My whole signs Venus is in the 9th house and JUPITER is what I look to in regards to love. When Transit Jupiter conjunct my natal Venus AND transit Venus was conjunct transit Jupiter, I met my kids father. It's because Jupiter rules 9th house. Venus in Libra in 9th house. Libra rules 7th. Also Sun rules my 7th house. I have clearly noticed that when a man's natal Jupiter conjuncts his Sun I get instantly drawn to them. I believe it's a Karmic thing though (Jupiter is rx in my chart and wholesign Sun is in 8th house). Here are my transits for Sept. 3rd 2005 (when I met the father of my children) There might be other important transits at the time that I didn't notice. I haven't really studied it much yet.. Edit: Ohhh look at Saturn transiting my 7th as well. http://astrology.about.com/od/thehouses/a/TheHouses.htm IP: Logged |

@Ash @Empresshey thats interesting! my 7th is in Sag, so I'd imagine it's Jupiter in my case as well? i also have mercury, neptune and uranus in the 7th, and my venus is in the 11th so well i have to say i met my greatest love so far loosely before Jupiter was transiting my natal Venus, then things were mostly evolving while Jupiter AND Neptune were almost conjunct my natal Venus. I've looked up several dates when tr Venus was conjunct natal Jupiter and I have to say I don't remember anything world-shattering happening If one talks about the Solar Arc between Jupiter and Venus then it would be 27, which was last year. But then Mars is not that far and conjunct my Venus, so should it be 27-34? IP: Logged |

Andstuff since Venus is in your 11th you also have to watch for Uranus/Saturn transits I suppose IP: Logged |

thanks Empress. does this just apply to conjunctions or would the same go for trines/sextiles? IP: Logged |
