Topic: Can someone please explain how composite charts work?

I have always just done synastry between two people and have seen people using composite charts. How exactly does this work?From what I can tell, it takes the two charts and combines them into one, I guess centering them in in between the two person's planet placements? Does this mean it is relationship potential, or just a weird combination of the two people? Your help, no matter how brief, would be much appreciated! IP: Logged |

Composite charts are, indeed, a "composite" (compound/blend) of two different charts. They are typically calculated using the midpoints between the planets/houses from each chart. Where synastry still shows the exclusive elements of the two people for comparison, the composite will integrate both people and so it represents the RELATIONSHIP of the two (or more) people involved.IP: Logged |
