Quick question for all you talented readers out there, in regards to a question being asked, if a reconcilation is possible between two people, the 6 of cups comes up - what does that mean? My research is a little fuzzy due to slow internet engine searches...so I thought I would gather opinions hereIP: Logged |

In my experience I have drawn this card for people in regards to someone from their past life, childhood, or from the past in general. Like a high school sweetheart or something. It also makes me think of the inner child. I see it as a good omen.this is from angelpaths.com The Six of Cups The Lord of Pleasure is a welcome card in any reading, bringing in a sense of harmony and balance. Existing relationships broaden and deepen, giving an extended sense of contentment and satisfaction. It's important to recognise, with this card, that its influence extends only to established relationships - those which already have a history of their own. It will come up in a reading to indicate major steps forward, strengthened commitment, marriage, recovery after trial. Mostly, it will relate to intimate relationships because of a strong link to contentment within sexual partnerships. Sometimes, the Lord of Pleasure will appear to mark the point at which a previously purely romantic relationship extends to become a sexual one as well. Because of this influence, there are also several connotations of creativity and fertility. We have tended, in recent times, to lose sight of the true higher interpretation of the word 'pleasure', and that sometimes leads to misunderstanding about the 6 of Cups. The card is not so much about the act of sex, but rather about the wealth of emotional contentment that can arise from being in a fulfilled sexual relationship. Good sexual experience is one of the greatest acknowledgements of our physical state. It adds richness to our understanding of ourselves as humans. IP: Logged |

doesn't mean much on its ownsometimes i read it as there used to be feelings, sometimes i read it as being haunted by past feelings, sometimes i read it as a new affection with a new person to come it really all depends on sensory impressions a lot. sometimes this card feels cold, sometimes its warm. can't explain. and depends whats next to it, depends on its position in a spread etc. IP: Logged |

Thank you! Excellent interpretation. So, the question was if I and someone I cared for had a chance of reconciliation - this is one of the cards that came up...does it mean since I am from his past well, last time I was with him was in Dec. The cards surronding it were the Hermit which make sense, he is solitary, want to be left alone (he currently checked into rehab for alcoholism)and also the 8 of wands reversed..I don't really understand the reversed cards of their significance as some ppl use them and other don'tIP: Logged |

6 of cups - hermit - 8 wands rxhe used to care a lot, now he's trying to understand himself and figure out what his priorities are. 8 of wands rx means delay, as upright means speed of communication/events.
