I'm in a bit of a state of confusion and hurt and I wonder if anyone might be willing to pull a few cards to shed some light on what's in store for my current relationship please? Wow Venia that's almost exact!!!! I discovered that my partner lied about some texts he'd swapped with his female friend. She's very devisive and manipulates people (men particularly) to get her own way. I was upset because he told me he'd made it plain to her that she couldn't do that with him anymore and I then found he had been quite warm in his replies and certainly not dismissive. He's mortified and said he'll never keep anything from me again and that he'll cut ties with her and show me the proof in his texts. I'm shaken and partly believe him because he's proved so much of his feelings towards me in his actions to date (moving in etc) but I don't know what to do about this. He says he doesn't want to lose me and wants nothing more to do with her. There's no affair - he's had no opportunity for a start because he's here all the time and she's over 150 miles away but I feel betrayed all the same because he told me one thing and her another. I'm glad it made sense...
Well, I 'feel' that your partner has indeed honest feelings for you and he doesn't wanna lose you. He means it! I guess he was put in a difficult situation regarding this manipulative and selfish woman since they were friends, as well.
