Take a look at the Moon & Saturn in this composite chart. http://postimage.org/image/qpved5cv9/

Is this relationship doomed to be an emotionally stifling one? I'm already feeling it a little. Are there any noticeable redeeming factors that shows we'd be able to work through it? We do share the same moon sign, but Saturn is making things difficult. I can tell we really like each other, but it is like there's a barrier up. :/

The moon/saturn conjunction in the composite can be difficult but generally speaks of committedness to one another. This couple would be the type to rock climb together. They would tend not to have the regular everyday home life for long and would be packing up regularly to go off and get involved in adventure stuff like extreme ski camps, base camps for rock/mountain climbing, or maybe travelling across the mongolian expanses. Humdrum domesticity would be difficult.

If they were to have children they would probably get a few chinks in the relationship because children can be confining for one or both and the level of risk in their adventures would not be inclusive of small vulnerable children - that would possibly become the death of the relationship.

It would generally be all about the guy this relationship, and the female or other, would be trying to keep up - doing a pretty good job, but would age and feel the strain of the demands of the guy - basically keep up or be left behind. Generally they would be a good balance between themselves, but in stressful times, the guy would get more extreme in his goals and projects and this would place incredible pressure on the more female partner. She would weather it ok and be in total awe and admiration of the guy - unbeknowns to her, he has been testing her from dot and he would be devastated without her - alas though he could cheat on a whim, and be able to push on in his way out of any confrontation about it. She could cheat when the relationship was in crisis if presented with a compassionate ear by a mate/competitor of the guy but this would only add to her unequal power in the relationship as she would try to assauge her remorse by giving in more and more to his extreme demands on their lives.

All up, they could stay together for years, with him having his epiphanies in moments of peril, and she holding any domesticity/family together by being a super support/PA to him and his cronies. At the end of it she might find that if he died and left a will, nothing would go to her, under the premise that he believed she would want it this way, and that would be to give everything to providing support services construction or something to out of the way expedition sites. And she with would stubbornly advocate for it, whilst not feeling that way at all and scrapping together the money to give him a decent funeral.

Heh, where do I get these concoctions from?

Hope this is helpful.

Perhaps someone else could shed light on the relationship as a whole? I know @RAS always talks about Mercury, Venus, and Sun stellium...

Good luck!

When the composite Moon is conjunct composite Saturn:

While this may not be apparent at the beginning of your relationship, emotional heaviness is something you're bound to deal with. Some awkwardness or shyness with one another, however, is likely right from the start. It can be difficult feeling at ease expressing your emotions and innermost feelings/desires with one another for fear that the other person will somehow disapprove or fail to fulfill, acknowledge, or sympathize with them. Self-consciousness or awkwardness can be a real problem. You might avoid "messy" emotional expression, or keep things from one another as a result. Or, one person might attempt to keep emotional conversations going, but feel unsupported by the partner. Overall, there is a sense that you can't truly be yourselves or open up on an intimate, emotional level with one another. On the other hand, there can be a real sense of duty and responsibility to one another, long-term commitment and emotional maturity in this relationship. A strong feeling of needing one another is likely. There might be short separations and reunions. There can also be a sense that you're both strong or mature enough to deal with problems or hardships. There is a feeling that there is no rush while you are together, as you will have enough time to explore whatever you want to explore with each other at a later date, and this can be a very good feeling.

I feel very in love with this guy...I mean it happened so suddenly but it happened nonetheless. I had a sort of emotional break down and told him about it, and he ignored me entirely for a few days, then when we saw each other again, he acted like nothing had happened. Also, we talked about being exclusive (we'd just been casually dating)...I brought it up and he agreed...but then I see he has a page on a dating site that he updates often. :/
His natal Venus is in Gemini in the first house, and it happens to be where his progressed sun is, so I was already worried that he is a player. He seems to have genuine interest in me, but he shows no real signs of affection.
It's breaking my heart.
What do you guys think? Should I just end it? Yes, can someone please look at my chart and his chart and tell me what's going on??
