Is this young woman interested in me? (dating, obviously) http://www.astro.com/cgi/showgif.cgi?lang=e&gif=astro_2gw_235_date_hr.82637.10578.gif&res=100&va=&cid=yitfile1m2j2s-u1059630281

(the link should be clickable)

She is Mercury Rx, I am Jupiter, but don't forget the Moon, which signifies the whole thing.

Thanks.

Definitely. Mutual reception Mercury rx Squares Jupiter, but it seems you might be more into her (you're in the 7th), but that's ok you're both in each other's sign & there's a sq aspect, although it just started separating. I still say yes, she's interested.

Moon squares Jupiter by 9 units (days, weeks, months) something might happen between you two. Squares show difficulty/obstacles not sure what kind just briefly viewed your chart

I forgot to mention, I'm (Jupiter) in her 6th, not 7th. That has me a little concerned, as I've read it can be the house of unrequited love.

Long story short, I met her at a restaurant where she took my carry-out order. As I was placing my order, she smiled very warmly (what seemed beyond a "friendly & professional" smile) and she initiated small talk with me while I ordered. While I was waiting in the lobby, she walked over to me 3 times to tell me she was going to check on the status of the order. I figured one check on the order was plenty, so by the third time, I smiled to myself and wondered if there was something more between us without trying to presume anything. When it was all done and she had my carry-out bag, she apologized for the wait and wished me a good night. Granted, this can sound like a run-of-the-mill experience, but I sensed something more between us.

Oops, I just noticed you're in her 12th (your 6th), but yes there is mutual reception and an aspect so that's always good. You're probably in her 12th because she doesn't know you. It has happened to me in the past, or maybe she's in a relationship.

Yeah, and I've been thinking about that. I'm wondering if she is in a relationship, but not a satisfying one, so she might have taken an interest in me as a result. I had actually planned to leave her a note to call or email me if she's interested and let her take it from there.

Thanks again.

The only other drawback is that by sign, both Jupiter and Mercury Rx are debilitated, although she (Mercury Rx) is in domicile by house.

I know it may seem like I'm dragging this out, but I'm just noticing these extra details after I've already posted.

LOL, yes I know. Mercury rx @ fall + detriment. Jupiter in Gemini also in detriment, but you exalt each other so that's always good. It may just mean that you two will be hesitant to act on the attraction, especially her.

For me (I also asked a question where our significators are Jupiter in Gemini & Mercury in Pisces) I'm Mercury in Pisces because I'm too shy, and every time I see him I just shut down completely. He's in Gemini because we see each other at his place of work, where he can't really act out on the attraction, but we both know there is 'chemistry'. Plus other readings have confirmed that we do like each other, however in his case I strongly believe he's in a relationship (he was in my 12th house).

I hope that helps you see things .

One thin you mentioned caught my attention. You said

How exactly do you see from the horary chart how she and I exalt each other? lol sorry, I'm confused.

Haha, no problem. Because she's in Pisces which is Jupiter's ruler & you're in Gemini - Mercury's ruler . You are in each other's 'home signs' . It's called mutual reception - she likes you & you like her

But that's domicile, not exaltation.

RECEPTION.
Reception is when two Planets that are significators in any Question or matter are in each others dignity; as Sun in Aries, and Mars in Leo; here is reception of these two Planets by Houses; and certainly this is the strongest and best of all receptions. It may be by triplicity, term or face, or any essential dignity; as Venus in Aries, and Sun in Taurus; here is reception by triplicity, if the Question or Nativity be by day: so Venus in the 24. of Aries, and Mars in the 16. of Gemini;[2] here is reception by terme, Mars being in the terms of Venus, and she in his termes.

The use of this is much; for many times when as the effecting of a matter is denyed by the Aspects, or when the significators have no Aspect to each other, or when it seemes very doubtfull what is promised by square or opposition of the significators, yet if mutuall reception happen betwixt the principall significators, the thing is brought to passe, and that without any great trouble, and suddenly to the content of both parties.

It is true that Lilly's definition does not offer a lucid description of 'reception' because it only applies to mutual reception - a condition which requires that two planets are simultaneously receiving each other. Reception, in itself, does not require the element of planets being in each other's dignities. Although Lilly makes it clear he is talking about mutual reception, especially towards the end of this passage, he has not consistently applied the full term.

I have to wonder if she's younger than she looks since her significator is Mercury, a youthful planet, or can you even get an idera of age (older or younger) from something like that in horary?

What's even more... interesting, is that--from research I've done recently on relationship horary charts, the faster moving planet (or luminary) shows the greater interest toward the other. I'm Jupiter, she's Mercury (granted, in Rx, but I'm not sure that counts against her), so I'll keep trying to meet up with her again in case she's been wondering what's happened to me. I went back to the restaurant to pick up some more carry-out and didn't see her, but will try again this Saturday or the next to see if she's working.
