A year ago, we had an exchange student from Europe who spent 10 months with us. I was her host sister. At first, we didn’t get a long very well but after about 3-4 months all of a sudden, we got to be very close and we starting bonding very intimately. Then after 6 months, our bond got to be so close, it was almost like some sort of a soul connection or something that I have never experienced with anybody in my life. The bond was more than that of two sisters that even my friends said that they have seen. It was like we were both the happiest we had ever been in our lives. I had never been close to anybody like that in my life and she said that she felt more free and closer to me than any of her other friends back at home. We were always very happy to be with each other more than anyone can imagine. Now that she has gone back home and has come to visit us a few times, both of us have been very sad to be separated. I’ve been very sad since she left and have been feeling a little empty without her. She says she thinks of me everyday and we can’t even go for a week without skyping each other. She’s got even more plans to come back to visit me and for me to come visit her in France. We can’t go for very long without seeing each other. I don’t know if this is a soul connection or what, but I have never experienced with anybody like that in my life.

I looked at our synastry chart to see what was going on and I noticed some interesting things that I am interested to know more about.

To begin with, I have my planets Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Uranus and Neptune ALL conjunct together in Capricorn in my 8th house. I also have Moon in Virgo and a Gemini Rising. My friend has her Sun, Mercury, Mars, Pluto in Scorpio, Moon in Cancer, Venus and Jupiter in Libra and rising in Aries.

What I found interesting is that she has her midheaven in an extremely tight conjunction with all of my planets in Capricorn. She also has her Saturn in conjunction with my Midheaven. My midheaven also makes a trine with her Venus and Jupiter in Libra in my 5th house. I was wondering if that had to do with having a career together? Since we both have the same interests in Psychology I always felt that were very capable of working closely with each other or something (although she’s more interested in what causes people to do thing sand I’m more interested in doing things like counseling and social working). I was wondering what all of your other experiences have been with Midheaven in synastry?

Other than how I found the midheaven aspects interesting, there were several other things that I also noticed in our synastry chart. I have my Juno in conjunction with her Venus, Jupiter and her Descendant in Libra in my 5th house. Although her Vertex and Juno makes a square with my planets in Capricorn which I’m not sure if it’s a good thing or not.

She also has her Sun in Scorpio making a sextiles with my planets. Then the big thing I find REALLY big is that my Jupiter and Vertex makes a very tight Conjunction with her Sun and Mercury in her 7th house in Scorpio. Her Sun and Mercury and the conjunction with Jupiter and Vertex are in my 6th house.

Other than that, she has her Cancer Moon in her 2nd house opposing my Venus, Mars, Sun and Mercury and making a Trine with her Sun and Mercury and my Jupiter and Vertex in Scoripo. We also have Chiron Trines and Sextiles. Her Chiron in my 4th house makes trines with my Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars. My Chiron also makes sextiles with her Sun and Mercury.

I also looked at our composite chart and even though we had a grand square and an x like shape, all the planets were in Sagittarius in 7th house. Venus was in Conjunction with the Descendant as well.

What does it mean with all of these 7th house placements too? As I said I had my Juno conjucting her Descandant, Venus and Jupiter and Vertex and Jupiter Conjucting her Sun and Mercury all in her 7th house. I know it has to do with marriages but since we’re both the same sex, is there anything else other than that? Maybe between friends?
