You don't have to take my interpretation seriously, it's just my own intuitive reading on the cards - especially when it comes to a relationship & my personal experience providing readings for others in regards to the same cards. I apologize if it causes any problems, but that's just what I gathered.

As for the cards explained after the feedback given, I mostly agree with what you said.

@Dee: looking at the Devil card in combination with the 4 of swords I would like to add it could also point out that the relationship has been very much surrounding issues of control of late. Perhaps he has been extremely dominant, angry & controlling towards you? Which may very well have put the relationship you are having with him 'on ice' for now where not much emotions for each other are involved, because of the pain inflicted. It literally cooled & there is a time needed to get past all the (probably) harsh words being said. That's probably what the cards showed him. Can you relate to that? Have you withdrawn from him? Do you need time to 'heal'and recover?

As for the lovers & 2 of cups: that could indeed point to your ex contacting you & you considering your options.

Okay, we all have our styles - that's understandable. That was my input, and how I read though. You think it's impossible, but given my personal opinion and experience - I don't find it impossible.

Here's what's happened since. he got friendly with this women. Is chatting with her online and in the garage every night all night on the phone with her..I also happen to know he's telling her a lot of bull..I thing one of the reason's he's trying to get close to her is because she claims she claims is she is in an open relationship and he is hoping to get something out of it.
