Don't be worried! Being an empath is a wonderful thing, although I imagine it can be emotionally/mentally/spiritually draining. Do you have Pisces/12th House/Neptune prominent in your chart? Do many of your planets aspect your Neptune/12th House ruler? If you have a look at your natal chart, maybe you can figure it all out. It may be in your destiny to assist others, counsel, or heal? You may be able to write about it, or make films? Or maybe you can reconcile these emotions so that they don't disrupt you on a daily basis. The possibilities are endless.

Keep in mind that transiting Neptune is in its ruling sign Pisces, and will be for many years--there are lots of people all over tapping into energies they've never felt before, or as strongly.

One thing I can suggest is praying/meditating as often as you can. You can light a white candle for protection as well. I also like to keep tumbled stones near me when I meditate and light candles. Clear quartz is a good one as it balances all 7 of the chakras and neutralizes your energy. You can look up the properties of other crystals/stones and see which ones you may like to use, if at all.
