I have to be aware of delusions, since Neptune is afflicted in my chart, and currently transiting my 3H.

Here's my Natal with some Fixed Stars and career asteroids:

Can you see anything that says that writing can be a successful career for me? I can see where I'm inclined (or even destined) to write and attracted to the arts, but what about writing as a viable career? It's very difficult for me to stay focused with it but and I try to write every day. I'm currently working on a novel--I want to take advantage of transiting Neptune in my 3H!

Also, I believe that there is a connection between the 2/3/9/10H in successful writers, but I don't see it for me. All of those houses are empty except for 10H Pluto, which is on 11H cusp.

Saturn rules my 2nd
Uranus rules my 3rd
Sun rules my 9th
Venus rules my 10th

I have a Sun-Venus conj. trine Saturn, and my Sun quadranoviles Uranus. Saturn is semisextile my Uranus.

Am I grasping at straws here? I want to have a career of my own, and I really wish it could be as a successful writer. Sadly, not every single person will have that chance, but I feel that I do. Is having faith enough to make it, though?

I'm not good in reading the charts, but if you are willing to put in the work and you love it, I would definitely go with the writing. I know an international best seller is probably a goal (which is good), but that's not the only writer's job. Text is always needed.
