I have read that, Chiron in the 9th house can mean difficulty with higher education...im pursuing a second degree in nursing and damn im having some difficulty like bad. (at first i thought it was due to my critically low anemic levels wound up getting shots instead of the regular iron pills). Can anyone give me some insight, maybe nursing is not for me (who knows) what does my chart suggest I may be good at and or pursue an education in. I could have sworn i read somewhere on a certain placement aspect that I would be good withing the fields of nursing, health etc...plus it is something I have always wanted to do *sigh* help anyone...whats your interpretation on my chart? Look at all those Mars squares that sun, venus, mars in 12th house!

Hello Julz87,

You are asking several questions about several topics and I need a little clarity. You've stated that you are pursuing a SECOND DEGREE in nursing. Does this imply that you already have 1 degree in nursing? If so, then I don't see any difficulty in higher education for you. If you have a degree, you've already accomplished one aspect of higher education you have one degree. It just may be a matter of it not being the best time, right now, to pursue that 2nd degree. There are other issues at hand that need your full time focus. Please answer this question if and when you can. Do you already have 1 degree?

A very different subject is the matter of your health. It's hindering your ability to achieve your goals, no matter what they might be. It looks as if there have been health pressures for you over the last 2 to 2 ˝ years and may have been related to friendships or relationship and/or receiving love from them or receiving income from whatever your career may be or may have been. I also see where you were having difficulty with your blood levels and anemia, and you had to have an iron drip, I've had the same thing and I'm glad you were able to have that as the situation looked very difficult. That looks to be very much over now. But the other health issues are still not over yet. Your chart suggests it may be connected to elimination issues, lower gastro-intestinal problems. This must be your primary focus above all else because whatever the problem is, your chart suggests that it's still an issue.

Before I continue, I'd like to let you know that I'm not necessarily going to teach you how to read your chart, at least not on this thread. Because the thread is titled "Personal Readings" that's what I come here for. There are several other threads on this website specifically designated for learning, but I come here to help those who want the chart read without the pressure of them having to already know how to read it or putting myself under the pressure of being a teacher. I just wanted to say that. If someone else wants to participate in this thread, I invite them to do so and think it's an awesome thing, so feel free.

If you hadn't asked any of your questions or revealed any information here about yourself and just put up your chart, this is what I would comment on first. Your health, finances, and there's a strong sense of very hard work around health, finances, your home and/or your mother or a maternal figure. The chart also suggests a strong sense of loss. You may already understand what I mean, but only you can clarify that and I'm not pushing or pressuring you to do so.

So I just want to leave you with this. I'm not saying that you will never get your 2nd degree, I'm just saying that this might not be the proper time to focus on the whole process involved in going to school, arranging for financing education or setting aside the time to focus on studies. This is a time to focus on healing yourself who whomever may be in your life who needs support with their health.

Last, I want to tell you to stop fearing the squares or oppositions in your chart. These aspects are active machines in your chart. They create NEEDED stress, they are NOT there to torture you or have you focusing on fear. They are there to give you ambition. Nothing in life gets accomplished without stress. That's the only lesson I will leave you with today.

Please be well, and God bless you, Julz. Feel free to ask questions. If the questions are about HOW I saw these things in the chart, I may not answer as I stated above but feel free to ask others what they see in your chart as well and they just might be happy to teach you the astrology that got them there as well.

do you have any other interests/hobbies that might be of greater interest than nursing? perhaps you're having difficulty because the subject itself isn't interesting enough for you, or too challenging? i happen to be a libra sun/cap moon and I know from my own experience that nursing isn't a top pick. you also have libra venus, and although they are housed in the 12th, libra is a planet of beauty/artistry and loveliness in surroundings and décor. a more peaceful environment or something that is more social/outgoing might be of greater interest? virgo placements often select health/nursing, but since it's your virgo mars that is square to several planets perhaps that is the difficulty -you've selected something that doesn't 'fit'?

To answer the questions, by second degree I mean its my second time trying. I tried first with communications got as far as the second year but I had a baby on the way and when he arrived (was born july 11,2009) time just wasnt enough. I experienced postpartum depression, there was just a lot going on at the time. SO I never finished ( it didn´t really interest me to be honest with you)

Around Sept 2010-January2011 my relationship ended. I was hard on me, I was the one that wouldn´t let go I think venus was transiting my twelfth house if I´m not mistaken during that time or maybe it was transiting over Saturn I'm not sure. As far as income goes, my mom pays for my nursing studied at the moment. Here no Uni is free unless its a national one and its extremely competitive to get into one. Makes me feel bad because I really want it but for some reason I just don't get certain subjects (mainly math) and my mom is paying for it, so you can imagine the pressure. I wasn't aware of the possibility of having lower gastro intestinal problems ( I did have a c-section though). My health is bad, I´m a bit overweight haven't been able to lose the pregnancy weight, my finances are bad seeing as to I have to rely on my mom to pay for school. My home well my mom just recently bought land we are in the process of building a home. She is just a bit slow at working towards it (she isn't as hmm I dont know what the right word would be but I suppose as aggressive when dealing with people, she needs me to do it and I just don't have the time I get home around 7pm and at that time all places are already closed)

My mom is sick she got sick when I was 15, she suffered a stroke and she has beginners schizophrenia...she doesn't want treatment for that I have tried time and time again. I ended up leaving high school at 16 because someone had to maintain the home (she is a single parent I have a younger sister) I obtained a GED at that age as well....*sigh* my life is just a mess...But I just don't know what to do anymore, I am 25 I have a 3 year old and I still haven't made something out of myself. I want to do this and I want this bad not only for me but for my son.´Me taking more time off from school just isn't an option for me, I don't want to waste more time What do you mean by elimination issues? and a strong sense of loss in what way? Relationship wise I lost my partner, my sister as well she just got married and is far away. But I can understand both. Well maybe not the first but I do understand my sisters situation fully.

I have always had a problem with money always and sometimes I just don't know if my break will ever come. My ultimate goal is to finish this degree and go work in Germany.
