Neil 10-24-1989 12:03 PM Manhattan, NY [/URL] Solar Arc 2015 appears to denote an emphasis on college (9th house activity). Suggestions as to where the emphasis of college will be? I am studying video game design and have been part of small projects as well as alpha/beta testing for AAA games (companies I can't list due to NDA agreements and other signed contracts, but they are games that are upcoming at retail game stories as well as online distributor). My thought would be enrolling in a game design sort of class in 2015. However, seeing the Capricorn stellium of my first house (Neptune ruling 3rd, Saturn ruling 1st, Uranus ruling 2nd), factoring heavily that it's all Capricorn, with my Sagittarius rising acting a an Aries Point (AP), then I would like to think that I'll be involved with starting up my own game company. I tried taking a good look at derivatives of my 12th house where Venus is (Sagittarius), and the 10th house of my 12th would be Virgo in the derived 10th. Which to me, further reinforces the need to work in video games, since I focus heavily on small details that bring out realistic notions of an immersive, simulated universe (think Cryengine 3, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWvgETOo5ek) ... But again, I am unsure of two things currently: What class should I be looking at in 2015, video game design related class, or a business entrepreneurial class? Should I be looking at starting up my own company, or assimilating myself to an existing company? IP: Logged |

I can't tell you from your chart, but maybe you should ask for a tarot reading or something, in the Personal Readings Forum.. sorry I can't help you more than this.Just a thought though: it may be safer to assimilate yourself to an existing company first, as you say, so that you can gain direct experience and see how that works for you. And then, after you've seen a bit of what it's like, you could move on to trying to set up your own company. I do think you'd need business classes for that, though.

Thanks Doux Reve. I am thinking assimilation into an existing successful company would be more useful, but deciding what role to assimilate myself as is challenging. IP: Logged |

You're welcome. I have the same Sun and Moon, by the way! Yay for Scorpio/Virgo combos Your chart seems to be filled with flowing aspects. It's refreshing. Your North Node is in Aquarius in the 2nd house. Makes me think that one of your goals is to earn money and make a living (2nd) out of an activity related to Uranus/Aquarius - computers, science, astrology, technology. Or maybe social activism, a job related to the community. Your Mercury/Mars/MC conjunction trines it, which is good news. Your mental abilities, drive and career path are all supportive of your North Node/life goals. I think you needn't worry about what choice to make. It will probably be clearer to you in time! Transiting Saturn conjunct your natal Pluto in the 10th/11th should shake things up a bit and you'll probably figure some things out about your future career and hopes and goals.

Glad to hear we've got the same sun/moon combinations. You should see what Noel Tyl has to say about Scorpio-Sun / Virgo-Moon combination. When I have time tomorrow I'll scan a page from his Synthesis textbook and post it to this thread, you might find it interesting! (and accurate and exacting...) Thanks for the quick read. Have you noticed transiting Uranus squaring my Capricorn stellium AND my Jupiter in Cancer? It feels like hell, I have had migraines the past few days. My mentor suggests writing down my ideas and really pushing forward on my dream to work in the video game industry assuming that is what I want to do. For the past few months I have been heavily using LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media websites to market myself as a suitable candidate for the video game industry. I suppose this satisfies the Aquarian/Uranian conditions of my chart. Also, I'm not sure if this is readily obvious, so I'll state it here: The Capricorn stellium that is present in my generation's charts generally have pointed to the natives wanting to know well in advance what will happen in their lifetime. People from past generations I've met have scoffed at this idea, but I know from experience: By "knowing" the end FIRST, I was able to get 5 out of 5 on all 14 Advanced Placement tests I took. I skipped my first two years of college by exercising that Capricorn stellium trait. My graduating year had the most immediate acceptances to Ivy League or well established University of California universities such as UCLA or Berkeley. One of my graduating peers from high school ended up going DIRECTLY to UC San Francisco (a graduate only school, no bachelor programs there!) all because we all researched well in advance what test formats would be like. Whether it was AP exams, SAT, ACT, SAT II SUBJECT exams, CAHSEE, or just a test for our professors in high school. We heavily utilized SparkNotes and Wikipedia in order to know what the plot of a story was so we could re-allocate more time towards ANALYZING the plot instead of just discovering it. This made our writing techniques excel above the standard norms. Fundamentally, we deconstruct the system first in order to figure out every piece, we must know the end, before the beginning. Classic capricorn traits through conjunctions.

Oh yes, I'd like that - although I'm not your typical Scorpio/Virgo mix, so I may not relate to it as well as you did! But if you have time, sure. quote: Thanks for the quick read. No problem. I can see why you've had migraines: Jupiter is your ASC ruler and therefore rules over your physical body; and the Capricorn stellium is actuallly in your 1st house, again emphasising the body/health/appearance. And of course with the Pluto/Uranus square landing right on these points, you must feel it quite strongly. From your chart it looks like issues surrounding your "self" ie body, appearance (and maybe even the "ego") and relationships are in a state of transformation right now. Looks like change is on the way. And your ambition is probably reinforced by transiting Pluto and Uranus forming a T-square with your natal Jupiter. I can imagine tPluto crossing your natal ASC, Uranus, Saturn and then Neptune wasn't a piece of cake at all. Neptune/Pluto transits can be particularly difficult. And with Uranus in the mix, must have been quite hectic. It's good to see that you're not discouraged and are actually moving forward! quote: For the past few months I have been heavily using LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media websites to market myself as a suitable candidate for the video game industry. Sounds about right! quote: Also, I'm not sure if this is readily obvious, so I'll state it here: The Capricorn stellium that is present in my generation's charts generally have pointed to the natives wanting to know well in advance what will happen in their lifetime. I've never thought about Capricorn planets playing out that way. Very interesting. In my opinion it sounds a bit more like a Scorpio thing - strategy. But, Capricorn and Scorpio can have similarities when it comes to controlling and planning things in advance. They can both focus on the outcome first, and decide how to act based on the information they get (whether it's fact or intuition). There is definitely a need for security/control with both of them. Thanks for the hope! Unfortunately the headaches are ongoing, granted at less pain. I'm glad the Tyl excerpt was useful. Let me know if you want to see any more of Tyl's work regarding Virgo moons or the Scorpio sun. My contact email is neilthecellist@gmail.com. Have a great night!
