Welcome Binational,You seem to be experiencing the Uranus Pluto transits (squares till 2015) at a very personal level.
Sorry about the divorce and depression.
I am going through this transit as well...we all are but I mean that it's touching me on a personal level as well. I'm a capricorn and Pluto has been visiting me since 2008. I have mars, mercury and sun in capricorn in my 2nd house. Uranus has been transiting my 5th house: I have no personal planets there but the square that it makes with pluto has been wreaking havoc and shaking or AWAKENING my love life and things to deal with 5th house (children, fun etc...)
I've felt the Uranus-Pluto square intensely last summer...I mean I've been reading about astrology for a long time but the past year confirmed so many times that astrology is real. The day that Uranus and Pluto squared for the second time in September, I felt my world being shaken to its score. It was the final break up with my ex and things were intense. All I could do was lay down in fetal position and go through it.
Pluto has transformed my finances and when it conjuncted mars I was angry as hell...enraged is the better term here. But it's forced me to deal with self-esteem issues and to assert myself more in my relationships. I'm a stronger person now. I like to say that I don't take S...t from anyone anymore. I'm getting financially stable as well (pluto in the 2nd house) but before to where I'm at now (still a learning in process and trying to deal with this transit...) The Pluto Transit completely and I mean completely destroyed my finances...I would have been on the streets if it weren't for family and at one point had to take a job way way below my educational level just to keep my head afloat or to hang on. But Pluto and a sextile with Jupiter in 2012 also facilitated me getting my current job: it literally landed on my lap for me to chose...
My insight so far, read on these transits as much as you can and learn to be flexible...it's for our own good. In fact, now I even feel lucky to be going through the Pluto transit...It has shown me what I'm made of and forces me to let go, to surrender, and to accept my own strength!!!
My ex is also going through this transit. In fact, he's having a transit like yours in some ways: Uranus is conjuncting his DC where he also has his Sun in Aries. Pluto meanwhile has been transforming his home (4th house). He was "suicidal" and went through a deep depression the first time that pluto conjuncted his IC...he even saw a therapist which helped him give up his drug addiction (he also had saturn going over his ascendant as well during this period). He has also moved back to the town of his birth place (pluto in his 4th house) and he's having a lot to deal with relationships due to Uranus. He's a uranian person anyway, loves his freedom, finds it difficult to commit which is why we broke up...Uranus brings separation but also from what I read online, people going through Uranus on their DC learn that committment doesn't mean loss of freedom and that's when many get married...I'm hoping that it works this way for him as psychics after psychics have told me that he will come back but he just wasn't ready
Hang in there! When you look back after these transits you'll realize that it was for your own good. I'm just coming from the worst part of Pluto and can appreciate it more now, but it was hellish at times
