What happened to his chart in the synastry? In his natal, the Asc. is Taurus, but in the synastry, it's Scorpio.

Also, I was just taking a look at your Venus and how it played out on his chart in synastry, so, the composite one isn't necessary, just the synastry, since it will show both of your house cusps.

With his Taurus Asc. (ruled by Venus), he should receive your Venus well, even though it's a square. I can't tell if it touches his 3rd or 4th house, but if it was a blend of the two, that could mean he feels right at home when he talks to you, in general communication with you. You touch him at his core, I'm guessing. I know that's not much, but I hope it helps.
