Hey everyone,

I'm interested in having a synastry or composite chart read for myself and someone really close to me..

I don't have any specific questions right now other than what our general compatibility is like according to these charts, and whether or not certain aspects stick out to any of you at all.
Anyone up for it?

edit: posting charts now.. his birth time is currently unknown to me, so I used 12pm.

personally, i don't see anything of any significance. like... nothing. the most interesting thing is that there really isn't any synastry going on - someone has three major planets (moon, venus and mars) sitting unaspected by conjunction or opposition in the 11th house and the other person has sun, venus, moon and mercury doing almost the same thing. those planets do fall into the 7th/8th house of a partner (maybe since you don't know tob), but there is not synastry between planets to get things going. the two plutos exact conjunct and the mars-mercury closely conjunct could mean some disagreements/fights as both struggle to get their point across. the composite is also kinda blah - the moon-venus conjunct is nice, but it's in the 10th house and the planets (important ones) are clustered in the 10th/11th; the energies/focus of the two people would likely be turned outward towards others and friendship and not on one another.

hmm.. okay starmoon, thanks for the input. I will say that I find it odd that you wouldn't see anything going on here, even if just considered as a composite or synastry between friends. I know I was surprised to find the vertex sitting in the 7th next to the DC, as this can indicate a significant relationship (regardless of type) based on what I've read. That may not be the correct placement though since I'm lacking his birth time.. I'll ask him for it and will go from there I guess.

Oh, also both of our moons trine the others venus. Just our of curiosity, do you know anything about that specific aspect? I didn't attach the chart from astro.com, but can do that if it would help with interpreting aspects.

hi. a composite is useful if you've been in a relationship with someone for some period of time - if you expect marriage/engagement is coming, and it could be used between siblings/parent-child, because of lengthy relationships. unless you've been w/this person a long time I would disregard the composite - it doesn't suit a 'new' relationship. how will you get to a composite chart if there is bad synastry? you have friendship synastry int he chart, sure. there are some nice trines, and venus-moon is a nice aspect (the conjunction moreso). it makes you very comfortable around the person emotionally, like you can share with them and vice-versa.. a shared energy at times that might not need words. but the aspect chart still shows too many trines (easy stuff) and not enough interplay between 'love' planets if that's what this is. as a friendship, go for it, but more ... doubtful it'll happen or happen for long - no one has the venus or moon activated well. and the mercury signs opposed would be problematic. just opinion and hopefully others will help you out. good luck :-)

Thanks again for your interpretation. I've been close with him for 12 years and things have suddenly seemed to be taking a different direction, so that's why I was considering the composite, and why I was curious enough to ask. Hopefully all will turn out well regardless of this though.. if anyone else wants to help as well, your input is welcome also!
