I am not sure, it was the only card i had to look for in the meanings... but i feel that maybe, if speaking by karma - maybe he was hurt in his past, and that's why he's so protective of his inner world, of his emotions now. He won't let anyone in unless he'll be completely sure that it won't hurt him. Some sort of protectiveness towards himself, i guess.

Oh, it's not easy to tell with these court cards, you know. I think this queen is you. Maybe you want this relationship to evolve faster therefore you act a bit more than he does.

Right now he is not in the mood of going further, i guess. He wants time to think about all of it, a time on his own. I guess he has taken a break for a while?
