Basically, I just need to know if I should pursue anything with W or is it better to just forget about it? Of course, it might not be so simple, but I'd appreciate any insight.

Is there great differences in character between you and W. that make you hesitant? Perhaps one being a bit overbearing/having different expectations than the other? If yes, make sure you solve this/have this clear within yourself and if you are willing to look past those differences, before you pursue. It doesn't have to be an obstacle and I think there is a possibility to move your connection with W. into a new direction.
Also: did you perhaps have an argument recently that made you fall out? Or did one want (demanded maybe?) more than the other?

On the surface, we are pretty different and I think it is taking me out of my comfort zone a bit, so there is some hesitation. I don't know what it is that he wants though, and that is what is confusing. He was the first to indicate interest in me, even though there has been very little interaction. So, there hasn't been an argument, but the last time I saw him, he was downright cold and didn't even say hi.

Okay. Thanks for the clarification. I received wheel of fortune - empress reversed - chariot for the relationship - connection between you. Seems like empress reversed showed up for 'being uncared for'. Since all of the cards were major arcana I can imagine this meeting having quite a lot of impact and you and it does not feel 'finished yet'. In addition: with the empress reversed and the Chariot it could just mean you moving away from it. Now I'm not 100 percent of The Chariot in this position since it shows me movement and victory and I'm inclined to think a follow-up move can be undertaken, but only if you would take action first and I doubt it would lead to a long-term commitment. Since it was unclear
I pulled an extra advise card for you which was the 6 of swords: calmly leaving the situation behind.
I'm sorry I can't offer you a very clear yes or no. I feel it's all about the effort you are willing to put into this and it will take a fair amount of energy to 'get on the same page'.

If it keeps coming up: I had that in regards to a relationship/feelings/man etc. too. Showed up non stop and it turned out to mean that one of them (him) shielded of and controlled the emotions and basically moved forward towards his own life goals. I wasn't in the picture, lol.
Maybe this helps you when you see the chariot in your readings. In regards to career and work for me it always comes up for good news and succes.

And thanks for the offer. Yes, sure, try What will the results for me be in regards to a new cooperation (let's call it project B)? Will it turn into extra/new offers?

I pulled Justice - 4 of Pentacles - 2 of Wands for the first Q.

I think this project could possibly bring security for you, materially or even personally too, and could provide a good foundation for you to build upon. With Justice and 2oW here, it is a matter that you are definitely weighing whether to go forward with or not. 2oW actually came up as the possible outcome, which I think is a very positive sign, as I think it means that you will have great opportunities and progress should you decide to go with it. I think these cards are showing that you have all the tools (balanced, rational approach) to make what you desire happen in regards to this endeavor

To reinforce the above, for the second Q (extra/new offers), I pulled the Emperor, which I take to be a yes, as it indicates being "in charge" of whatever possibilities may come up.

For the cards I drew for you: I double checked them with Empress: and she confirmed moving in different directions. Her opinion was that it was out of your hands with this man, ' moving away' and him possibly picking up interest in another woman Sorry.
