Here was a situation where my partner made a very sharp comment on a slight exposure from my dress which was unintentional on my part. Though it could have been told in a polished way, he chose to hurt me with his sharp tongue. I asked the tarot what made him make a sharp comment on the situation. I drew the devil and world cards. Does these say he enslaves me with his remarks? What does the world card say here? Any views will be appreciated. IP: Logged |

I would say that the world card could relate to him feeling that the "world" would look at you in a certain way, a promiscious way in a sense. Maybe he was concerned what others would think..IP: Logged |

My first thoughts also. Might spark lust in others and he thinks it's just for his eyes. IP: Logged |

Hi Ltownboogie and Twirl, Thank you for your views. I was very much aware of the intention of his comments. But I wanted to know why he chose that style of commenting rather than doing it in a polished way. I think my questioning should've been more specific then .IP: Logged |

Aah okay. In that way showing who's boss/has the power. Also not quite sure what the world is doing in here, but similar to first interpretation. "Boss over your world" kind of way. Not very nice. Does that ring more truth? Also a possibility: trying to take the control back... One only uses this kind of display of power and manipulation when someone feels it is necessary, because it's fake power. I'm thinking somewhere along these lines. Hope that helps you a bit IP: Logged |

"Boss over your world" - seems to make some sense. Yeah not very nice . Though it is not really like keeping total control over me in everything, trying to have some kind of a hold through the situation. "Fake power" - haha I think this makes sense. Thank you Twirl IP: Logged |
