I work in sales, and a couple years ago, my boss told me that she'd increase my commission on a certain item as well as give me a higher percentage of my sales above a certain amount. I remember thinking back then that I should get her offer in writing, because she is often overwhelmed and forgetful, but I didn't....and soon afterwards, my sales declined anyway, so the new commission wouldn't have helped much. I never confirmed that she had implemented the new terms (I know, shame on me...). Now my sales are strong, and when I brought up the topic of our meeting from a few years earlier, she had no idea what I was talking about. So I'm trying to figure out which year this took place (2009/2010/2011) as well as if there is some kind of evidence such as an email, or something I jotted down on paper that would be good proof for her. If I can resolve this, it would improve my (struggling) financial situation tremendously, so I really, really appreciate any insights anyone has on this!!! Thank you! I'd be happy to pull a card for you in return.
